I can’t say enough wonderful things about Evergreen at Southwood! The front office staff is absolutely fantastic—super friendly and always willing to help. They even go above and beyond by holding oversized packages for you in the office. The package management system is awesome too—you get a text notification as soon as your package is delivered, which is so convenient.

The garages are a major highlight! They are HUGE—so spacious that you could almost fit two cars. They are impeccably clean and well-lit, making it easy to access your vehicle any time of day. Plus, with two EV charging stations that are always available, it’s never been easier to charge your electric vehicle. There’s also a covered car wash station with a vacuum, so you can keep your car looking spotless with ease.

The apartment units themselves are beautifully updated and modern. The community is peaceful, quiet, and well-maintained. I always feel incredibly safe walking around the property, and the dog park is a great bonus for pet owners. The views of the property are beautiful and serene.

We previously lived at Evergreen at Mahan, the sister property, which was also great, but Southwood offers even more amenities. Both communities are top-notch, but Southwood truly feels like home. I’m so thankful to live here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to call home!

I’m not one to leave reviews but this complex deserves its flowers, I’ve lived here for over a year now and have enjoyed every second of it. I have lived in every corner in Tallahassee including many complexes and by far this is the best one yet. I always rave about it here because I truly haven’t had any issues, for starters the office staff is the best! They are always on top of any issues or concerns I have and really go above and beyond to build a good relationship with their tenants. Same goes for the maintenance staff, If I have any maintenance issues I promise you they are there if not the same day, then it will be the next. I also like how calm the neighborhood is, I haven't any issues with noise or even a neighbor. Another thing we love so much is how dog friendly the complex is, there’s even a dog park! I have had bad experiences at other complexes with having a dog but this complex really opened their arms and were even excited when I mentioned that I was bringing my furry friend. Lastly my unit, for those looking for an apartment in Tallahassee worth its price these are definitely it, these are the most spacious apartments I’ve ever lived in here. It actually feels like a home more than just an apt.

I have lived here for over a year and it has truly been the best experience by far. I cannot say thank you enough to the wonderful staff at the leasing office. Always very friendly and eager to help. Really made me and my family feel at home!

I started living at Evergreen at Southwood in June 2024, and my experience has been wonderful! Although I was hesitant about signing a 15-month lease, the special offer made it an incredible deal! I'm especially grateful to the front desk staff, Kierra and Brittany, for their assistance in helping me secure the perfect apartment. Before I signed, they sent me videos of available units and scheduled a tour for me to see the one I liked in person, which was incredibly helpful since I needed to find a place quickly.

I also want to give a special thanks to Devon, who made sure I felt at home when I picked up my keys on move-in day. Additionally, I appreciate the maintenance crew’s quick response to my requests—they even took care of a couple of wasp nests for me, which I really appreciated as a female living alone.

I'm looking forward to continuing my stay here at Evergreen!

I’ve lived here for almost three years! It’s been a great community to live at while doing law school. I was looking for something outside the college town area and this was the perfect fit. Everyone has been welcoming, the floor plans are great, and I feel safe.

Living Here is the Plot Twist I Never Expected!

When I moved into Evergreen at Southwood, I was expecting the usual adulting stuff: paying rent, taking out trash, and hoping my neighbors wouldn’t host impromptu drum circles at 3am. But oh no, I’ve stumbled into a sitcom where every episode is unexpectedly delightful!

First, the pool. It’s basically my personal tropical resort, from the hammocks, to the grill, and most of the time you will have the space completely to yourself!

The staff? Incredible. They greet me by name, and I swear, if I asked for a cup of sugar, they’d show up with a three-course meal.

The neighbors? Surprisingly quiet for a community that looks this nice. I’ve heard more noise from a Netflix show on mute. Seriously, it’s like everyone signed a secret “No Loud Noises After 9 PM” pact.

I absolutely love the Amazon lockers to pick up packages as well, making the process seamless.

The cherry on top: My apartment. It’s so cozy that leaving it feels like a betrayal. I’ve become a full-time blanket burrito, and I don’t regret it.

So, if you’re thinking about moving here, just know: your only complaint will be that you didn’t move in sooner. Now excuse me while I go lounge by the pool and pretend I’m on vacation… because I basically am!
