Amazing prices and healthy plants! The prices are always lower than the large, corporate "box" stores. The staff is very knowledgable, and will take time to assess your needs, recommend plants, and give you a short tutorial on planting and care of the plants, if you need it. At the same time, they are not overbearing. They spend more time talking you out of poor choices, and recommending appropriate plants for your garden/soil/shade/sun coverage, etc., rather than trying to sell you something. I love this spot, and I will be using it as my primary plant nursery from now on.

1st time visiting here. Healthiest and largest vegetable plants I've seen at any garden center. Large selection of flowers and vegetables. Fig trees for sale already had figs. Knowledgeable staff. Jim spent 15 minutes talking to me about my fig trees and offered several tips. My new go to place.

Plant prices are competitive or cheaper than BigBox and the plants are healthy and well cared for. I'm especially excited to see what new varieties of heirloom tomatoes and hot peppers are available each year. Staff is friendly and helpful, but not in your face with required greeting cycles like chain stores. I like to be left alone to shop, but there's always someone around if I have a question. I've been coming for years, and plan to continue as I love supporting a quality local business.

I'm not a very knowledgeable gardener. I went there probably 8 years ago, asked a ton of questions and they gave me a lot of advice. They were not at all stingy with their time. Great people to deal with. I now come from downstate to buy their plants.
