My experience with Shawn Becker, and Becker Enterprise Group, was amazing, awesome, and A+++. On first meeting, we walked around my property, Shawn told me what could be done, if I so desired, and what had to be done to remediate the stucco problem I was experiencing. He further explained how it would be done, layers of materials that would be used, etc. I had a mini course on stucco remediation to take me through the next three companies I researched. Shawn Becker was far and away, the only choice I could have possibly made to do my stucco remediation.
There are so many people who played big and small rolls in my job. There were men who showed up to set up scaffolding, to bring and prepare materials, to clean up, everyday, at the end of the work day. And then there was my special team headed up by Eric, with Conrado and Reuben, who did a beautiful job with the actual application of the stucco. It’s a work of art, and I am thrilled with it. Thanks too, to Shannon, the office manager. She was a wizard with the financial end of things, and made my life easy with her figuring and refiguring of numbers and payments when different things had to be included in the stucco fix.
And finally, there is Shawn Becker himself. He presides over a well run , professional organization, and still remembers what he has promised to do for you. Whether you need suggestions for paint colors or style of doors, he has the answers, and in the case of the paint- he even came with the paint. A full service organization is not just an expression. My two story colonial house in Blackwood, NJ had a devastating fire, which destroyed it, in March 2022. The rebuilding cost was prohibitive due to the inflationary times when we were just coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic. I then bought a new house in Bellmawr NJ which needed work. The house was on a hill which made mowing the front lawn challenging and at 66 years old with the stress and fatigue from the fire situation I took a fall mowing it. My neighbor had a retaining wall which leveled out the lawn, and I wanted one. I found Becker Enterprise Group in our area with an on line search for companies doing retaining walls, asked for a quote, and hired them. They did a beautiful job on it and followed through until it was done, including sealing it months later after the concrete and stucco had been allowed to fully dry out.

Given my experience with them there, I had them do another eight jobs for me: breakout of a closet and wall between the two first floor bedrooms to make a large master bedroom, installation of a powder room in a finished basement area, repair of the ceiling and replacement of a water damaged wall in the finished basement area, painting the new master bedroom and finished basement area and powder room, excavating the front yard and laying down topsoil and sod, removing and replacing four basement windows, and refurbishing a paver patio that had been allowed to go into disrepair. I continued to give them work because I was happy with each succeeding job they did for me. In all cases the work was well executed and the cost was reasonable.

I want this review to be taken seriously and not seem like fawning. To that end, I want to point out what we all know, and that is that any real world job of any magnitude always has a little surprise here or there. The test is how it is handled. In one instance, something did not go exactly as planned, at first. What I was impressed with is how the Becker Enterprise Group guys handled it. They had the experience, ingenuity, and tenacity to stay at it and make it work. That is how success is gained in the real world and this company is for real and stands by their work. I would recommend them to anyone needing work on their home in the areas they offer.
