In the midst of a Summer heatwave our AC broke down. By chance I was directed to A-Absolute Plumbing assuming I called the number of our longtime plumbing company which was still listed on the Internet but was actually out of business. Anyway the agent who took my call on a Sunday evening offered to Send out a technician right away but we scheduled this visit for the next morning. Since the unit was very old we were prepared to hear that it was beyond repair and we decided to install a new unit. The information about the specifics of the new unit was not sufficient so I tried to get someone on the phone the same day to make sure we would get the right energy efficient unit. This was the only thing that didn’t went well and when the new unit was delivered the next morning I saw that it didn’t match the SEER I had expected. I stopped the installation process and called Gil who was very understanding and changed the order with no extra cost! We really appreciate this cooperative attitude. The installation process was completed the same day and the team left the place after cleaning up thoroughly.
This was a very pleasant and smooth experience of changing the AC unit within 2 days from start to end.
I can only recommend this company!

We have an external sewer pump that had given us issues for a few years until it quit. A Absolute serviced it the first year and it was quite a challenge! They nailed it and though it took a few extra days, we were happy with the repair. Not quite a year later, there was an issue that they took care of quickly and with minimal interruption. This year it quit. The A Absolute team worked hard and fast to make sure it was replaced as quickly and painlessly as possible. And they worked within our budget to meet our needs. Good service - good work - professional personnel (and over 3 years we met quite a few of them!).
We would call A Absolute again!

My technician was Victor. He was great. He explained the issue and the different ways he could fix it. He explained the cost associated with each option. He did his best to make sure he did the job right at the best price. He was quick and efficient.

I explained to the dispatcher my concerns with the current pandemic and that I would prefer to enter and exit through a certain area and stay out of my main living area. Victor respected all my wishes and maintained distance and wore a mask the entire time he was here. Made me feel very comfortable.

I would use them again without question.

If I could give this company a zero star I would. Horrible customer service. And always a rip off. The first time they came the plumber broke the plate that was on my wall and said they were responsible. They tried to charge me 450 to 1100 to replace the cartridge and I couldn’t do that so they lowered it to 350. I said I would call back. Now that I call back, they have no recollection of them breaking my plate and also of the price quote. NOT TO MENTION that it took them 4 hours to come. Not only were they rude but they did not care nor try to help. Use a different service if you could !!!!! This Place will break something and say you need to replace it.

On 8-21 my AC unit needed to be serviced. It happened around 6pm. I went online and saw that Absolute was available 24 hrs so I decided to give them a try. The service man arrived as scheduled but it went downhill from there. When we told him the unit was in the attic he immediately advised me that the quoted of $99 to see what had to be fixed would now cost $350. Since I had provided all of this information when I spoke to Absolute to schedule the service, I asked him why the price would different and he said it was because the unit was in the attic. I don’t know much about AC repair, but I felt like he was trying to take advantage of me. This is not what I agreed to so I told him that I was no longer interested in using him. At that point he he got upset and stormed out. I decided to call back the company and they confirmed that the cost of the estimate was I fact $99. They weren’t sure why the service man said this. I don’t know why either? They agreed to send a different service man first thing in the morning. He arrived and fixed what turned out to be a minor problem. I was satisfied with the the service, but then he informed that I needed to replace the entire unit. The AC unit is only 10 years old and should could easily last another 5 years or, hopefully, longer. Maybe because I’m a woman, or because I don’t know anything about AC repair I feel like they wanted to take advantage of me. I paid for the repair and thanked the tech, but I won’t be calling them back.

Wow. Just, wow.

We had just moved into our home a week prior to this whole ordeal. We were having problems with the basement sink draining and I was horrified to find that it was overflowing uncontrollably one Sunday. I had called my plumber (awesome guy) but he wasn't able to come out. As a first time homeowner I panicked and called these guys, because I had read that they don't charge extra for nights/weekends. Score. I also read that they come out in an hour or less. Double score. The dispatcher guy said they plumbers would be out by 2.

When 2 came rolling around I called again. "Definitely by 3". Long story short, they came around 6. Frustrating. Nice guys though...I showed them the problem and they had the answer, It was my sewer backed up (gag). He said low end was 500, high end was 600 to fix it right then. I wasn't sure if that was good or bad, but what was I supposed to do? I had a sink spewing out poop. I told him to fix it. It took him and his guy about a half hour to fix. They didn't clean up after the job (I don't really blame them, but come on..they left their towels and garbage everywhere). It came to 700$ with the tax.

The following day my plumber came out and said that snaking the sewer should have run no more than 200 and was absolutely flabbergasted over how much they charged...and that they had only done one of the two traps. So i over paid by about 500$. FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.

I called the place back and spoke to a very rude person who made invalid arguments about how it was more because it was Sunday, and that they are a big company so they charge more than other plumbers. Kinda hurting your business there, huh? The owner was nice though and gave us 10% off, or, their "Senior Citizen" discount. So at the end we were overcharged by only 400.

Way to completely rob a young family the first week in their first house. It's not like we have a 30 year mortgage to pay or anything. Terrible!!!

Matt V is a miracle worker! He was professional, conscientious, and took his time to understand my issue and best-RESOLVE it. My furnace was not working and my basement was a mess following a flood. Matt assessed my furnace and determine that a new control panel was needed; when he didn’t have it on hand, he went to the store to buy it and promptly returned. Afterward, he installed a new sump pump which has worked flawlessly ever since. EXCELLENT & affordable service is an understatement. I highly recommend this company and definitely Matt V. He is the best. Thank you so much; you were (are) literally a lifesaver.

Their staff is experienced in a wide range of plumbing issues. They have the equipment to get any job done in a timely way.
