Not recommended. I do strongly suggest you shop around prior to using them. A tech came out & told me he wasn’t able to fix my issue, I was advised that I needed a new oil tank, moments later he told me I was up & running again but I still needed to get it serviced (I thought that’s what he was doing). About two hours later I went to wash my hands my water was cold & heat wasn’t working. I called the company that sent them out & was told for 3 days straight that I would receive a call back (never did). However, By the 2nd day I called another company & a friend of mine who does HVAC they both came out & advised me that I DO NOT need a new tank, and I my heat/hw wasn’t working bc I needed a new relay box.

I Called the company back the third day & finally got a call back from the manager few hours later, I explained I wasn’t looking for money back but I wanted to make note that I was misdiagnosed AND I was told by two different licensed techs that I don’t need a new oil tank. Manager had no accountability of his technician mistake however was full of excuses & “I’m not sure why, but I’ll look into that”

To make matters worse; the technician was unprofessional. He yelled at my 2year old to turn his iPad down & when I asked a question regarding heat & hw his response was “stop trying to be a technician & let us do our job” I was simply trying to figure out if the boiler created heat along with the hw.

1/5 for unprofessionalism, misdiagnoses & not having accountability.

DO NOT USE! Unreliable, unorganized, and they charge you to "diagnose" the problem - but not fix it.

Dave came out to fix the squeaking noise and charged us $130. Said it would buy us some "time" before we have to get a new heater. It started squeaking again not even 24 hours later. They said they would come the next day between 8-12 at NO CHARGE since it was the same problem. We called at 10 to confirm that someone was coming, and again at 11:30 and they said there was an emergency no heat call. However, we can't use the heat because of the horrible noise and we have tenants that we don't want to bother. So we wasted half the day waiting on someone to show up - and he never showed up! We got a call at 11:50 saying that we WOULD be charged for him to come out today, even though we were originally told we wouldn't. So we are back at square one, cold and out $130.

We have to spend 10k + on new heaters, and we will not be using this horrible company!

I would never recommend this company for any service. My oil delivery company sent Affordable Heating to my home for a special on heating maintenance. After arriving on time, he stayed outside on the phone for an hour to come back in to say he cleaned one pipe out and could not service the boiler. I was charge $149 for NOTHING! He shut the system down and turned off the oil at the filter without telling me and sent the system to a hard shut down. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Highly recommend! Dave (owner) came out for a routine annual servicing job however I had also been having several issues caused by the last company I used out of Mahopac, NY. Dave took the time to explain the issues, what needed to be replaced and the cost and even offered to come back once I had received other quotes. He didn't need to as I was already sold. Final price was very transparent/detailed/reasonable and customer service went beyond expectations.

Horrible! Stay away! Not even worth 1 star. Company takes advantage of after hours "No heat calls". Rude technician spent 5 minutes in my house, made a quick fix, charged me $211 and heat went off 10 minutes after he left. Called the office the next day. They said they couldn't refund me the charge, but would send someone else out. Sure, so they could misdiagnose the problem again and overcharge me? No thank you! They are not interested in customer satisfaction only padding their pockets!

I'd rate Affordable a 4.5 - 5; have used them for 3 years since moving to a new house with a 22 year old furnace/boiler. About ready to replace, but team has kept us running and avoided the higher expense. Emergency service needed twice, and both times the technicians were prompt, courteous and got us back up and running quickly. Cleaned up a mess and last time out left the basement cleaner than they found it. Very happy with service and switching our C/AC

Dave the technician came out for annual service which I hadn't done in 2 years. My unit is 25 years old, only issue was transformer was shot, mind you it was the original.
Dave had to go to the supply store to get it and didn't charge any extra for his time. Did a great job, explained everything to me in plain English, showed me the old parts that had to be replaced while they were still attached to the furnace. Everything was left very clean and Dave did an excellent job.
By the way he didn't mind me looking over his shoulder either.

I had a issue on my boiler and called parkway to send a technician. Affordable came on time but didn't come with a mask. I told the technician can he put on a mask and he was upset. After he put on the mask then ask me to put on my mask in my home. I told him I'm in my house and don't need one. He refused service and walked away. And the company is okay with refusing service to customers because of a mask. Don't use this company.
