Nos tocó una casa enorme. Se supone que es para doce personas y eramos cuatro. Bien amueblada y con todas las comodidades. Contras: a la afueras de Homer y si vas desde Homer tienes que girar en medio de una carretera de 4 carriles y da respeto.

We had a great time at the Dovetail cabin! It was warm, clean, and had a lovely full kitchen that we enjoyed making our dinner in! It had just the right amount of room for our group of 5 and a baby. 😊 The view of the bay from the living room is absolutely stunning! This is a wonderful choice for a weekend!

We stayed at this location Alaska Adventure Cabins, stayed at one of the main cabins. What amazing views of the bay, warm inside, great internet, great views, extremely clean and charming. Our guest communicated frequently and responded quickly. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

Even though we live only 70 miles from Homer, we travel there often. Alaska Advebture Cabins was the perfect place to stay for a 3 day getaway during New Year's Eve as we go into 2025. The "Dovetail Cabin" sits on a bluff with outstanding views of Kachemak Bay and the mountains and glaciers of Kachemak Bay State Park. The bathroom is a bit small but just fine for the two of us. We'd stay here again on any overnight trips to Homer.

I spent a night at Alaska Adventure Cabins (AAC) on the weekend of January 10-11, 2025. I needed a break from my very stressful job and chose to spend that time at AAC. The time there was just what I needed. The view from the Dovetail Cabin room was quite frankly breath-taking. It was a view of the bay and the surrounding mountains. The cabin itself was beautifully appointed with carefully chosen pieces that represented the spirit of Alaska. I was very appreciative of this. I met Evelyn, who owns the AAC, and she was so kind and considerate of me and what I needed for my stay. I have only the best to say about her and my stay with AAC. Do not hesitate to book a space here and spend some time - I promise you will not regret it. I myself intent to return in the very near future.

It was a total fluke that we ended up booking the "Dovetail Log Cabin." When we were pulling up hotels in the area, it popped up as a special price and so beautiful, we had to book. Location is right off Sterling Hwy, about 2 min drive to Homer. And although we were off the Main Road, we slept very well! I didn't notice the sound of cars at all. The view was beyond Amazing!! That was so much more than anything I could have dreamed of. The queen bed, in upper loft, is situated so you wake to the beautiful sun rising over the Homer Spit and along the mountain range. In the evening we sat in the living area and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets beyond the ocean and volcano! ||The only caution I have to give is that the bedroom, with twin beds, does not have a door entry through the main cabin. You have to go outside to enter. This did not effect our stay, as an adult stayed in that room. If I was planning to use it for young children, it would not be acceptable to me. There is also a spiral staircase, in the main cabin. Which was fine, we just had to keep a close watch on our 19mo. old. We do that anyway.||The cabin was clean and had what we needed. Another plus is it's open year around!! Would definitely be looking to stay again on future visits!!

Excellent view close to town with an excellent host that is very accommodating. Outside barbeque grill provided so easy to make a lunch or dinner during your stay as an alternative to going out to eat for all your meals. Mini kitchen inside well stocked which worked out great in preparing breakfast without the need to getting dressed up to go somewhere.
