I'm reviewing the service we received from Autonation Ford on Google because the other option provided does not permit photos. Our Ford Explorer was picked up on Tuesday because the panoramic roof fabric retractor was malfunctioning. I was contacted by a Service Technician who informed me that if the parts needed to be ordered and if the repair was going to take longer than 2 days that they would bring our vehicle back, and pick it up when the parts arrived. Either way he stated he would keep us informed of the status. We waited until Thursday with no updates. Invoice. However, Ford Pass software showed that the oil life was at 19%. Even though I stated that we would take our Ford to a different dealership, I agreed to have them bring our vehicle back to us, and pick it back up at a later date, understanding that it would still take 3-4 days to repair the panoramic roof headliner retractor. My Score for Autonation is one * because this isn't the only issue we have had with this dealership. Does it really take 3-4 days to replace the headliner retractor on a 2022 Ford Explorer? The vehicle was picked up waxed and washed.. pick below show the condition it was delivered to us. I made the marks with my fingers to show in better detail how filthy the vehicle was returned to us.

I was totally pleased with the service I received. Matthew greeted me when I arrived on schedule at 8:00 am and began the process of the 45,000 mile servicing on my car. He said it would take an hour or more and led me to the comfortable waiting room. At 9:00, he gave me an update, and by 9:30, he informed me that the car was ready. Check out was simple and the cost was very reasonable as I had expected. Based on this and previous visits, I would highly recommend the service department at AutoNation Ford St. Petersburg to anyone.

I arrived at Ford AutoNation 20 minutes before closing on a rainy Sunday. I’m a middle-aged female and I was quickly approached by a younger male who asked how he could help me. When I asked about a specific Ford F250 I had seen online he did not raise an eyebrow. And when I told him I had just purchased an Airstream and needed a truck worthy of pulling my new investment he was just as excited as I was in helping me find what I needed. He asked all the right questions to make sure I was getting a truck that had enough towing power and was just as excited about seeing the new Airstream. It was so refreshing. And he waited until all was said and done to make sure I had everything I needed before I left later that evening driving away in my very large truck!

Service rep Barbara was very nice and responsive to my service needs. Costs for repairs were way too expensive for me, $1400 total. I ended up going to a small private owned shop for a total of $627.56 for the same fix. Love Ford but way too expensive for services anymore.
