We had the Bahler Brothers clean and seal our patio last month along with completely replacing our front step and replacing a wooden step off the back of our porch. We were 100% happy and satisfied with their work and the teams that did the work. They continued to keep in contact with us regarding materials and timeline of when it would be done. Because of their reputation we had no worries of our investment before the work could be done.

We worked with Bahler Brothers to create our dream backyard which included a heated Soake Pool, a 400+sqft patio and a gas fireplace. From the beginning Tom was great to work with regarding design and choosing our materials. Josh and his team were hard working and efficient. We absolutely love our Soake pool and are so excited to enjoy it year around. The reason for 4 stars is regarding our budget. We gave them an “all in” budget and they designed an outdoor area to reflect that. In the contract it stated there would be additional costs such as propane and plumbing, we didn’t expect anything too significant because it wasn’t mentioned and we weren’t given an estimate/heads up after we gave our budget. The additional costs exceeded $15,000 above the budget we planned for and spoke about. We’re incredibly happy with our new outdoor space and would still highly recommend Bahler brothers however I think it should be noted that we ended up paying $15,000 more than we expected.

Bahler Brothers is a great, local company to consider for high quality home improvement projects at affordable rates. We have contracted twice with them, five years ago for our backyard patio and then last summer for an expansion of that patio and surrounding landscaping including lighting and gardening. We loved the results and thoroughly enjoyed the process. Jenn was creative and patient designing and fitting the most value within our budget while hitting all the wants. The building crew was polite, professional, timely and hardworking just like the first time around. And Byron did a phenomenal job with the landscaping and finish of the project. At a time when the price of home improvement projects has skyrocketed and dealing with contractors has become a pain, Bahler Brothers stands as a family business of good people serving the community in South Windsor and beyond. We have a list of wants for the next round sometime in the future and will always come back as a trusted, honest and quality craftsmanship provider. Highly recommended!

Over the 2-3 months they worked at our home they became part of our family. Not only did they do fabulous work including a lot of changes that we requested along the way, but they showed up everyday (many contractors do not), hit the timelines we discussed, cleaned up at the end of each day and communicated with us very professionally. It's easy to 5 star a business when everything goes according to plan, but unfortunately ours didn't. That's how I know Josh and his team are beyond amazing. They worked tirelessly to figure out a solution to our drainage problem. His crew redid the patio until they got it right without one tense phone call, email or additional bill. I wish I could have the Bahler Brothers do every project at our house inside and out.

My husband started with Bahler brothers two years ago. Up until then, we never realized what the possibilities of our backyard could be. Ryan did a 3-D Image of what we had in mind. I still did not believe my backyard could look like that. Juan and his paver crew were here every day for a solid week, as well as Patrick building our field stone walls. The work they produced was meticulous. I could not be happier with the quality of work and the attention to detail. All their hard work was followed up by John and his landscaping crew to put the finishing touches on our project. The pictures don’t even do it justice! We are now the envy of all of our friends who say they feel like they’re at a resort when they are at our house. Josh and the Bahler Family put out high quality work and I could not be happier!!
