I'll start by saying that I don’t like other people touching my car, and finding a shop I can truly trust has been incredibly difficult—especially after being ripped off by five different places. However, Crystal and Matt have completely changed that for me. They went above and beyond, earning not just my business but my trust and highest recommendation.

Their communication was top-notch, keeping me updated every step of the way with clear details, thorough explanations, and a transparent price breakdown. They didn’t just tell me what was wrong—they explained how they diagnosed the issues, how they planned to fix them, and how they reached their pricing. Speaking of which, their prices are also extremely reasonable.

If you’re looking for an honest, skilled, and trustworthy shop, this is the place. I can’t recommend them enough!

You can’t get better service than Benware. Fair pricing and top notch service. I’ve been fighting with a local dealership about an oil leak for months that the dealer kept saying didn’t exist. Benware took pictures of the leak on multiple occasions, called the dealer for me and even offered to go and show them the issue they claimed wasn’t there. They really go above and beyond for their customers.

As an added bonus: they have the most adorable “support staff” in Oakley and Niko, the best office dogs.

Benware Auto was recommended to me by a good friend. The service and quality is outstanding. This is a hidden gem of a repair shop. The husband and wife team, Matt and Crystal go above and beyond to make sure your troubles stop with them. I've had quick service, friendly talks and advise, and affordability over other shops inflation. Depending on the availability of parts (supply chain issues) I have always got my truck back same day or next business day. Yes I said truck, they work on it all. Bring your vehicle there, you will not be disappointed.
Due Note They bring their fur kids with them, in the office. So be ready to be sniffed and rubbed up on by their affectionate (bigger) pups.

It was my first time with BenWare Automotive. I was given a date to bring my car in over 3 weeks from day I called, however in this situation it wasn't an issue. Normally it would be. Everything seemed to go smoothly, and Crystal seemed to be courteous, and friendly. The issue I brought my car in with was 2 parts. My headlights wouldn't shut off. Secondly, my blinkers worked intermittently.They would work all day, then just not turn on Little while later, with no pattern would work again. Obviously, very dangerous, and risk of being pulled over. After having my car for a day, and charging a diagnostic fee close to 150$ and the fix came to 399 dollars and change. Picked it up, and within 3 hours blinkers not working, then working. I called Crystal right away, and was texted back that " the problem must be deeper, and they could see me in again close to 3 weeks. I called, and got nowhere. She was condescending, spoke over me, and told me it they were working when I picked the car up. OBVIOUSLY, they sometimes worked, and sometimes didn't. Conclusion---- I called Aamco diagnostic. They came to my home. Stayed, and looked until the blinkers stopped working ( bout 45 mins.) Then played with a couple dials, and switches. Fixed!!!!! Absolutely, NO Charge. Do not waste your time, or money at BenWare automotive. Sorry, I did. Will let everyone I know as well. Extremely disappointing.

The owners Matt and Crystal made sure that my vehicle was fully inspected and completed all maintenance work on time with reasonable prices. Communication was excellent and Matt even taught me how to change the engine air filter.

If you're looking for a local family owned automotive repair shop Benware Automotive is certainly worth the visit.
