I lived in Simsbury and haven’t been back in a few years and was in the area today and decided to make a pitstop. Bagels are still very good. I had to get a half dozen to bring home. A half dozen of bagels was about 8 dollars. Our bagels with cream cheese were delicious with plenty of cream cheese, these were around 4.00 each. Worth it!

Everytime I come here i am met with amazing customer service. I just had a cinnamon sugar bagels toasted well with sausage,bacon,egg and cheese. Well this sandwich blew me away. The mixture of sweet and salty and all the great quality meat and everything else that it comes with is absolutely amazing. I always feel very comfortable when I come in the store and that is very important. All the employees I have ran into have been the best. Thank you for the great service and the amazing good quality food

Great cozy feeling for a bagel spot. Bagels are delicious, I love that they have a turkey sausage option, and the service is friendly and fast even though they always seem to be busy! I also love that they get creative with special bagels--I had the Cherry Chocolate Chip bagel this morning and it was delicious.

1 excellent coffee, 2 eggs, 1 bagel, potato wedges, and 9 pieces of bacon!

The coffee was also really good, I got the Colombian with simple syrup and half and half. I really appreciate when a coffee station has pour-your-own creamers and syrups.

WOW...is all I can say!! Our neighbor brought us an assortment of Bagels from Brookside Bagels and let me tell you they were the best bagels these over 60 year old's have ever had! We love bagels and have had bagels in New York, and in Europe as well as everywhere in between, and none compare to these!! We had the cheddar & jalapeno bagel with their home made jalapeno cream cheese, soft, chewy and tasty. We also had the specialty blueberry, apple and pumpkin cheesecake bagels just plain which were out of this world!! We are 1 1/2 hrs away from their shop (which is a good thing for our waist) but we will definitely be taking the trip to get these again.

Service sucks every time. I just bought a plain bagel with veggie cream cheese for $5.50 (that’s absurd) and waited for ten minutes. It’s cold. Clearly been sitting there for a while. Coffee is terrible. The bagels, when prepared correctly, are good. I’m tired of places like this.

Was in the area and decided to get a coffee really quick. Everything looked and smelled so fresh I had to get the bagel egg and cheese. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely be back.

I grew up in Simsbury and I’ve moved all around the world/country since and I still haven’t had a better bagel. Currently going to school in NYC and even here the bagels are never as good as Brookside. The food, service, and small town atmosphere is unbeatable.
