The providers here are a nice and friendly group of therapy providers, but I do not recommend going to Burke Therapy for your children's needs. They practice bait & switch... for instance, promising 30 minutes of speech and 30 minutes of OT for each of your twins and then reconsidering to only offer 30 minutes total for each twin (15 & 15 minutes), but continuing to bill your insurance and you in the same manner so they can receive the same amount of money for half the amount of services they had originally promised. (I did reluctantly agree to the change because I had thought it would be in my boys' best interest as explained to me, but realized later it was actually in the providers' best interest to work less hard and still receive as close to their maximum desired payment as possible... between our co-pays and what our insurance also paid, Burke Therapy received a little over $300/hour which translates for them to $150/provider.) This was not an insurance issue; Burke Therapy submitted the same exact claim each week despite altering (reducing) the original service received and promised.

I was not happy with the services provided here. Burke Therapy does not hold itself accountable through written reports/summaries of what they work on so I could keep track of what targeted areas or milestones they were working towards, and sometimes through the verbal conversations we had when I would ask what they were working on, they would want to take credit for what could very well have been the natural progression and increase in abilities that occurs as a child is developing through their early toddler years.

My boys are still receiving services, but we are now at a different office and I have been happy with the honest delivery of the promised services that the other office is providing us. In addition, the providers we are seeing also provide us with emails of tips and areas they worked on that we could continue doing at home.
