When I called to have someone come by to give me a quote for my bathroom makeovers I was told that they "were not the the place for me". Why? because a shower in one bathroom was a one-day make over and they "couldn't touch that price." I was very well aware of the cost of a remodel. No worries, there was another company who had no problem remodeling while keeping that shower as well as remodeling two other bathrooms and the kitchen counter, appliances and floors. They may do good work, but an employee had a bad assuming attitude and lost the company a high five-figure job.

I'll start with the positives. I called yesterday for a non-urgent issue and they were able to fit me in the very next day. When they were running late, they called to confirm I was still available. The plumber and his apprentice were friendly and professional. They fixed my problem and explained everything. Then came the bill: I was quoted an hourly price of $145 for the first hour and $130 for each additional hour. But, because an apprentice was present (which I was not informed would be the case of ahead of time), I was charged an additional $75/hour, bringing the total bill to over $500 to replace a shower valve!! The explanation given was that it would take one plumber twice as long and so it would be the same cost regardless. I was home the entire time, and strongly disagree. My main gripe is that it wasn't disclosed up front. For that reason, I'm not sure I would use them again.

When we first bought this house over a decade ago, we sifted through a handful of plumbers who seemed to care more about what their handbook said than what my wife and I were saying. It wasn't until we found the team at Carboni when we realized what we were missing out on. A true connection with their customers that really makes you feel like you are in good hands. I know this all sounds like a scripted commercial, but trust me, they are the real deal. Countless jobs from well pumps, water tanks, pipe leaks, and even installing new heating and cooling units. Everything we have had done with these guys and gals (shout out to Robin!) has been tremendous. We even had an instance where my wife was eight months pregnant and the heat went out during a single digit ice storm. I called their emergency line, and they sent someone out within the hour who got us up and running again. Not only that, but they brought over portable heaters just in case they couldn't fix it right away. That shows not only a level of professionalism beyond other places, but it shows they truly care about their customers. One hundred percent would recommend them to anyone and everyone in the area.

If you would like to be nickeled amd dimed out of your mind use these guys. Go elsewhere. Do not let them take care of your elderly parents they will over charge and take advantage. Buyer beware!

Our well pump failed without warning.
I called James Carbonic plumbing and talked to Robin, one of the owners. I explained our situation. Her husband Bob came out to diagnose the problem about two hours after the initial call. He found the problem, provided a rough estimate.
We told him to do the job. Two men came to the house the following morning, went to work right away. Two hours later the job was done neat and clean. Very professional. I recommend them highly.

Beautiful showroom. Chelsea in showroom is very knowledgable and good to work with. When Bob came out to measure our bathroom he was very nice and experienced too. Haven't contracted yet. Still thinking about what we want. But very good chance we will. Thank u all
