CMC Sheet Metal was outstanding from start to finish on both jobs we hired them for. Chris did all of the ductwork for our new construction home. He was very professional from plan to execution and the heating/cooling in our home is perfectly distributed. Chris also installed a hood vent for us, that went through a wall into our garage and out the side of the house. He designed and built custom pieces to fit exactly what we needed for the hood to function properly. He also made sure that the ductwork we see in the garage blends in, and is not an eyesore. His work is clean, and precise. Highly recommend to any friend who needs sheet metal work.

We moved into a new house recently and hired Chris for two projects. The first was to reroute an air return that was inefficiently located in the back of a bedroom closet. Chris installed new ductwork to move the return into the adjoining bedroom, and was able to custom-fit it into the corner of the closet so the majority of the space could remain available to use for storage.

The second was an issue with our oil furnace: on the exterior of the house, the exhaust from the furnace and the air intake were located too close together, so the intake was pulling in some of the exhaust and circulating it back through the system. This caused a noticeable oil smell inside the house whenever the furnace was running (and presumably wasn’t good to be breathing in either!). Chris was able to relocate the air intake much further away from the exhaust, and we noticed an immediate improvement!

In both cases, Chris’ work was very professional and reasonably priced. We will definitely hire him again for any future HVAC needs!
