I am posting this on behalf of my daughter who attempted to receive care here. I would not bring my dog to this office or come here if it was free after the abusive and rude treatment she endured. The front staff at both Torrington and especially Simsbury need an attitude adjustment. We both have contacted these offices to attain information. My daughter wanted to schedule a consultation to have her infected and impacted wisdom teeth removed. Our family dentist referred us to here. She wanted a Friday appt.. due to work but was told she could not have one due to dentists not having their credentials to take her insurance. This is after being told they are in her insurance network. Then they said could not do Friday appts. but never offered another dentist for a different day. She was told to call their Simsbury office which then went to their Torrington office instead who told her no appts. on Friday. So she told them I was told you can do them at this location thinking she had Simsbury but found out she had Torrington. They scheduled her an appt. In 4 weeks. Then proceed to tell her you must pay $440.00 upfront that day. So she asked why when she has insurance. They tell her because they make you pay then bill your insurance later and basically who knows if you get the money back. So insurance and patient can both pay them. What is the point of insurance then? Not an unusual question when other medical and dental practices seem not to do this and not everyone has extra money just sitting around. So basically despite an infection, swelling and pain one can not be seen. Unless wealthy. Then after scheduling her appt. and having our family dentist email her xays to them. She received a text saying you are not a good fit for our practice and your appt. is cancelled. So only 3 oral surgeons took her insurance here so luckily she found another one which is farther away and she has to wait longer to be seen now but at least they were respectful at that office on the phone. This place treats you as a non existent number and a dollar amount. Otherwise your needs and care is not important. A complaint will be filed with the dental board. I do not recommend anyone going here. We have never endured such treatment ever and she was insulted and blamed for asking questions and if the front staff is allowed to behave this way who wants to go there. Who knows what treatment you will get. If you want rudeness, dis respect and non empathy here is your place folks.

Great experience! Was very nervous anticipating getting my wisdom teeth out for a few years. Smooth and quick procedure w very minimal pain. Dr. Weyman was very easy going & calm along with his assistant Ashley. So glad it’s over but thankful I have no bad memories from it! Front desk was very accommodating & knowledgeable to a late request for some other treatment I needed the day of. Would 100% recommend this group if your looking for oral surgeons!

I’m very disgusted with this office.
I called a day earlier to ask and confirm they would be able to remove the tooth that day. They told me that they would be able to over the phone and that I wouldn’t be able to drive. But when I arrived for my appointment that I waited 3 months for they told me they were only going to only look at it today and I had to set up another appointment 3 months down the road to have it removed. Then after that they dropped me with a $135 bill for being in the office less than 5 minutes for him to tell me what I got told the procedure was going to be over the phone the day before. Don’t go here they are a bunch of scam artists who have no care for their clients.

Front end receptionist rude and uncaring. I was using Carecredit. She got notice to call them. She refused. I called Carecredit & they approved transaction but she refused to speak to them. I spoke with office manager that took all insurance info and was assured this would be taken care of. All this up to 45 minutes after tooth extraction. Now they are billing me. Doc & assistant great. Office staff still need to submit claim as they obviously have not. Very angry this not taken care of months later.

I was referred to this practice by my dentist for a cone x-ray. My first visit was scheduled for the Simsbury office, however I received a call less than a half hour before my appointment, saying that they neded to cancel. Apparently the doctor had a surgery that ran long and could not make it back to the office. I was offered an apointment in 6 weeks (this was already an emergecy!), when I explained that this was not acceptable I was offered an appointment in the Windsor office in one week. I went to that appointment and the office staff and assistants were very kind and professional. Then Dr. Lee spoke with me and briefly examined my mouth, and basically said that he couldn't help me and refused to do the cone x-ray (which I agreed to pay for out of pocket). Despite my having jaw and gum pain, his quick visual assessment deemed this unnecessary. I thought the point of the x-ray was to show things that can't be seen on a visual inspection. This whole experience was a complete waste of my time (twice) and money. I was extremely disappointed with this practice.

This is a professional oral dental service that my husband had been referred to needing tooth extractions. They book us very quickly.all instructions given to us prior to appt. All insurance info and patient medical history in advance of the appt. They had Covid-19 protocols in place waiting in your vehicle until call when they were ready to seat you for your procedure. They call your pick up ride when you were done. I loved that they called that evening to check up on patients and answering any questions or concerns and also the next day.they gave us written instructions on aftercare. All went well and I will recommend anybody who needs this service..very satisfied customers!

I got my wisdom teeth removed about two weeks ago from today and I did everything they told me to do. With doing everything correctly I have gotten a dry socket, an abscess, and an infection. This is my third time trying to go back today. The last two times I was greeted with rude staff members. Today they just sent antibiotics to be picked up at cvs and did not even look at the abscess.

Reason for the one star review is for the front desk staff at this location. Twice I’ve been at the Simsbury location and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Overall 5 starts for the Doctor and dental assistant’s help. Very comfortable and pleasant experience when dealing with extraction, just not the front desk experience. For being a paying CUSTOMER the front desk assistant should really work on matching the other staffs professionalism. Just a lack of communication and rudeness. Overall great practice!! I’ll just been going to the other location not the Simsbury location because of those experiences.
