I buy a lot of parts from this dealership and purchased vehicles before as well. One thing I have to say first how terrible is service department. They charge $252 for diagnostics and every time come up with maybes. If you're charging this much only to find out what's wrong, i'm sorry i don't care what reason but you have to come with name of the problem or problems and solution option and cost. You're not a random shop at the corner taking a look for free. It's not even disappointing anymore.

Absolute criminals! I called and asked them how much it would cost for a new nox sensor. They said they had to do a diagnostic that cost 255 but it could be applied to the repair. I called and told them I wanted to know the price of both sensors because I did not want them to do a diagnostic if it was going to be outrageous and I also asked if the parts were in stock and they said yes. I had another mechanic that had the parts in stock and could get it done in time to avoid disrupting my work week. Then they send me the estimate and say I need both sensors done and it will be over 1900 dollars after telling me it would be around 400 if it was the front and around 700 for the back because they had to remove the axel and it was more labor intensive (they said parts and labor). Also every diesel mechanic I spoke to said it’s almost impossible to have both fail at the same time and I suddenly

Beware, DO NOT take your car to Connell Chevrolet! They will bait you with $900 and you might land up paying $5000! They first gave a quote of $900 over the phone for my Chevy Trax. When we gave the go ahead they send approval for $1720.80. Then when we want to pick up the car they had added $900! When we refused to pay for the additional $900. Mike fumbled on the computer and acknowledged we hadn't authorized and brought it down to $1600 something (with AAA discount $50). We paid that. A day later oil starts leaking! We take it back. Guess what ? We are sent quote of $3320.37 worth of work that needs "immediate action" Seriously? I know times are tough, we are all in the same boat, but you don't do that!!

There are reasons to give more than 1 star - pleasant and professional staff, for example. However, I've now had two cases where something breaks immediately after bringing my cars in. First, I take my Camaro in for a $1000 tune-up. They inspect the car and say everything looks good, but within a couple days we notice that the AC/heating has stopped working. We took it back, and they charged over $100+ to diagnose the problem with a $3000+ fix, which was 97% labor fee. They refused to accept any responsibility for it.
Now they call us telling us they need to update our Volt's software for free, for a recall. OK, sounds good, but immediately after getting it home we notice that the car won't charge. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I'm done doing business here unless they take responsibility for this and fix it for free. Too suspicious and makes no sense.

Big shout out to Mr. John Colbert. He’s the Service Manager at Connell Cheverolet. I had an issue with the charges for my oil change and regular maintenance done on my vehicle. He took the time to pull the last 5 service bills. The last service bill was the one in question. Mr. Colbert reviewed those charges and found some mistakes. Those were honest mistakes that he corrected immediately. Thank you Mr. Colbert and I appreciate everything you have done. I would like to negate my last two post that may have been unfavorable.

Service Advisor Mike Burroughs really went out of his way to get my needed part as quickly as possible, and to keep me informed. He could not have done a better job for me. He also got me a super rate for a rental car. (I was visiting to attend my 50th HS Reunion at NHHS from San Francisco). It was stressful to have a mechanical problem on a packed weekend away from home, however, everything turned out fine! Thanks so much!
