I spontaneously popped in Deane’s upon being alarmed by a message on my instrumentation panel. Barbara was immediately helpful and patiently explained my Jeep’s mechanical issue. I made an appointment for early the next morning and was pleasantly surprised when Barbara provided full transportation so I would not have to wait for service. Deane’s has the latest technology in communication so I was made completely aware of needed and recommended service work. I could not be more pleased with their service, price and professional knowledge. Deane’s will undoubtedly be my new auto repair shop! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Both Barbara and Bob impressed me with their knowledge and experience with my GM truck and its inherent transmission problems. I had scheduled a diagnostic test with the dealership. But after researching extensively the
Shudder problem which could lead to very expensive transmission and or torque converter. I decided to consult with them. My 2017 Colorado had shudder problems while still under warranty and the dealership did the flush but not the full replacement or filter change at 25k miles. It now had 88k and had just finished a trip in July up from Florida towing my 25ft Rockwood mini lite through the Blue Ridge and Appalachians staying in COEs and State park campgrounds. I was experiencing some intermittent shudder. Being distrustful of dealerships and their price gouging and
Often misdiagnosing causing unneeded expense in order to increase profits i
decided to consult them. We agreed on a complete fluid and filter change. Barbara provided a timely and professional quote. The quote was more than the original verbal estimate but the reason was acceptable. She had found a GM bulletin that had changed/upgraded the fluid type. The service was performed the next week with an included loaner car. Barbara particularly impressed me with her knowledge and diligence in keeping up with current automotive computer technology and code interpretation. I have since returned to Florida
with no problem. They also suggested a fluid change every 20000 miles if I was to keep my vehicle and continue my current usage
pattern. Makes sense to me. 500 vs 5000-7000 makes sense to me.Thanks guys.

I made an appt. For a 4 wheel alignment on my Subaru Outback. Subaru themselves recommend having it done at certain intervals so that alone is a reason to call a garage and say, "hey I'm doing some basic maintenance on my vehicle and I'd like an alignment ". End of story! Or so you'd think. I had informed them of some vibration I felt while driving and it came and went intermittently with no particular thing that would get it started. A couple of us guys did some eliminating of causes checking everything the garage would check on a diagnostic test. They know a lot, I get that, and they said based on my description of the vibration I don't think that's the issue so we want to check for all these other things and so on. But I just want an alignment I said. I did some eliminating issues and all I'm asking for is an alignment because that's what the manufacturer recommends. I think maybe you might be at the wrong garage. Maybe we're not the place for you they say. If we do the alignment and your car still vibrates after you take it than it makes us look bad.... No it wouldn't! Did they cause the vibration? No. Did you do a good job on my alignment? (Had they just did it) Yes Than those are the questions we must ask. Did you have good customer service? No. I just want an alignment.
If I go to a masseuse and tell them my feet hurt and I want the focus to be there. They don't say, "well let me first check your shoulders to see if they're tight too and maybe we can take care of that to see if that's making your feet tight." JUST ALIGN MY DARN TIRES.
It's all good if you had a nice experience there. They're good people. Helped you in a jam. Cool man. From the initial phone call I said what I wanted. Subaru says to do it and so I came to do it. Alignment. Simple.
I've never left a bad review for anyone in 45 years. A few good ones but I'm not a computer kind of dude.
Take it how you want to take it but it all came off with a shady vibe that gets hidden within clever verbiage by mechanics and people associated with them over a long period of time of taking people through the mud and mastering the art. The idea is to make it look like what it's not. Sleight of hand in a different form.
That's what makes it clever.
Thanks

Stopped in to have a valve stem replaced on a utility trailer tire. Girl in the office refused to help, said they were busy now. I offered to leave the tire and they could fix it when they had time but she said nope can't help you. I went to Maple Tire and they took me right in and fixed me up at No Charge!! I should have went there in the first place.

You know the insurance commercial stating, ‘You’re in good hands?’ Well, this statement sums up our experience with Deane’s Auto & Truck, Inc.
We had the unfortunate luck of having both of our cars experience pretty big problems at the same time. A good friend’s son recommended Deane’s and boy, was he spot on!
Bob and Barbara know their stuff. They take the time to explain the problem, and actually show you the parts that are causing the problem. Honesty is so important and we are grateful to have found an honest family run garage to bring our vehicles to when in need of repair or regular maintenance.
We are very pleased with their work.

Absolutely phenomenal service, brought my car in for a suspected headlight out and an oil change, they found a critical electrical error that I had completely missed. Despite the unexpected service, the entire process was very easy and pleasant. Barbara kept me advised throughout the entire service and advised realistically on what was needed, I never felt the push you typically get for unnecessary/superfluous service working with auto repair shops. With all that, the customer service continued when I received my car back, with the interior completely cleaned (the condition I provided the car in was, frankly, embarrassing) and all systems were fully functional again. I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received and will certainly be bringing my family cars to Deane's for the foreseeable future.

We have had 2 great experiences at Deane’s. Barbara is a pleasure to deal with and bob is great. We needed our car fixed and they lent us a loaner car no problem so we could still do our daily
Activities with our 2 babies. They are very thorough which we like and do a wonderful job, definitely our place for when the cars need work - we HIGHLY recommend.

My truck arrived at Deane's Auto & Truck Repair late Tuesday, early Wednesday on a flat-bed. I was making a trip home to Maine when the pickup decided it had other plans and took a break along I-84 E Tuesday night. Joe, the flat-bed driver from Axle & Spindle Truck Repair (great guy, went above and beyond to make sure Me, my Fiance, and our pets were comfortable and safe, thanks again Joe for your hospitality!)...anyways, Joe recommended Deane's Auto & Truck, he said it was the only place that worked on his diesel pickup.

I contacted Deane's first thing Wednesday morning and they already had my truck prepped for diagnostic testing to determine the cause of the breakdown. In no time at all, I had a text alert and phone call from Deane's outlining the following steps and estimated cost of repairs. Deane's work expeditiously to get me back up and running; heck, they even performed a routine inspection and provided the report via their (rather user friendly) web-based platform that came in a link with my initial text alert. The entire time Deane's techs were working on my truck, I could see real time updates via the web-based platform...kinda neat.

Given our desperate situation, the folks at Deane's even brought the truck to the hotel so that I didn't have to coordinate a ride or begin to navigate the local area. I would recommend Deane's Auto and Truck Repair to anyone; passing by, broken down, or locally. Heck, if we didn't live so far, I would keep Deane's busy pretty regularly!

Thanks again for understanding our situation and getting us back on the road Home, I truly appreciate your quality of service!
