I didn't have such a great experience with this company. If you have the word heating in your name and you don't want to do heating then you should remove it. I called because I was having an issue with my hot water heater and to me it was an emergency. I had water pouring out of the release valve and ruining my basement and carpet. I stopped the drainage, but ended up turning off the water in my whole house to do so!! When I explained the issue to the plumber I spoke with he started saying I needed a new water heater because it was leaking. He asked if I had a hatch to the basement to remove the water heater. Started saying it was a big job, etc. Then what blew my mind was he said he would pass on this job? I didn't even know that was a possibility for a business to pass up on work. Very frustrated after that experience with them. I won't say the name but I ended up calling a 3 star company (rated on Google) and over the phone the plumber walked me through an easy fix. He said it would save me a load of money and it was super easy to fix. I literally fixed it in less than 3 minutes. I really wish Dick Wages/Gary Thresher Plumbing & HEATING Service would have come through. Maybe then I could have given them a great review. Don't let the stars fool you, the two highest rated plumbing services in Enfield could not help me, but 3 star was better than I could even ask for.

Finally a pleasant experience with a plumbing company!
I called about a sudden leaking copper pipe in my cellar.
The (hot water) was pouring out onto the floor.
A service person answered my call and patiently explained to me where
the main shut off could be found so I could stop the flow.
They were at my house within 2 hrs and fixed the problem quickly.
I considered the final bill to be reasonable and felt I had beed treated like family.

I called A-1 because our kitchen sink was leaking underneath.The serviceman was here
within 2 hours.He explained some options of fixing it and we chose to repair
all the pipes,as the house was 52 years old.The serviceman was experienced and friendly and we would call again.
