Dennis from F.F. Hitchcock came out today to replace and damper and perform additional maintenance on our furnace. He arrived on time, and quickly performed the work, including troubleshooting some previous work from the original homeowners. He communicated everything he checked and the fixes he made, and recommended future services. Highly recommend.

Thank you for Steve and his team hard work! We had been ask a couple companies for quotes. Steve is the most knowledge, friendly, person we had been see. He call me to check the day he come to quote. He text me when dumpster and materials are here. On the day, he share with me photos of work though out the day. His team did a great job for our roof. They Manuel explained to our concern. All garden and back yard had been clean. Steve also update me the dumpster pick up time. And keep me updated on warranty. Kim and Sarah are also so friendly on the phone! F.F. Hitchcock is a class act. I have had wonderful service from this company for about 6 years. I purchase my propane for heating & hot water from them and have had several repairs performed by them since beginning a business relationship. They respond promptly and can usually come out the same day I call or the next day for sure. Recently I needed to replace my furnace and had F.F.Hitchcock remove the old boiler and install the new one. Great experience from talking to a sales rep, securing financing and the actual installation. Very nice and knowledgeable technicians. I highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs.

***Update 12/6/24 - I wrote the review a week ago and the owner immediately replied. I was so relieved. It looked very promising, so we emailed him our contact information that day with the details about our experience. Here we are, 8 days later, and he has not responded back at all, or reached out in any way at all. Looking at his reviews, he seems to respond to some negative ones requesting that you contact him. Beware when it appears he’s handling issues with the negative reviews, because he hasn’t with ours. It’s really very disheartening and disappointing, because we really thought he was going to help. We really liked this company at the start.

11/28/24. - We had a system installed that was over $20,000. A year later we are dealing with the mice in the system which is a clear result of an installation issue. We can look out the window and see where the piping enters the house and there are holes to the outside world that you can stick your hand through. We called to have them remove the dead mouse from the heat pump and they canceled our service the evening before they were due to come out. I couldn’t take the smell any longer, so I removed the dead mouse. I called back informing them that we have mice due to the large holes in the siding. I have photos and have plugged the holes that we are able to get to. The woman I spoke to said she would put it on the desk of someone that deals with installation. No one called us back, and when we called, they said they would charge us a service to fee to come and determine whether it’s an installation issue or not. She also said our warranty is a year, but it’s been a year and 4 months. You would think they would stand behind their work when it’s a CLEAR installation issue and NOT charge us to come out and fix it. We really, really liked this company and the representatives they sent to do the work. It’s sad that we’re dealing with issues from the installation and they want to charge us to fix it. Again, a $20,000 system.

Dorian (Teach) and his assistant were very courteous and extremely helpful. They were aware of the situation I was in, and they did everything in their power so I could have heat tonight. FF Hitchcock needs more employees like these two fine gentlemen. Thank you and keep doing great things and taking care of our fellow citizens and Veterans.

These folks are outstanding. We had a plumbing emergency on a Friday afternoon. Although they were busy, their on-call plumber John responded. This job involved cutting out a section of wall in order to do the pipe and fixture replacement. But John completed the job ! Excellent customer service and very professional !!! Thank you also to Michelle in the office who made this happen.

Hitchcock installed a window for me. A large 4 double hung replacing an old bay window. I also purchased the window from them. The window is superior quality! The removal of the old and the installation of the new went perfectly. Very professional! Nice guys too! Also the woman I dealt with on the phone originally was amazing! Extremely helpful in helping me decide on what to get.
