I've paid for the service of sidewalk, front yard, and stairway sweeping, taking out trash, and taking out recycling, but the foot soldiers have not done any sweeping at all. Highly disappointed.

I've been a client for a few years and need to say there's a big disconnect between the amazing staff on the streets (trash removal, salting, shoveling, etc.) who I would love to give a big 5 stars to, and the office staff who I would give 1 star to.

The on the ground staff are always timely, attentive, and do exactly what they're asked to do. I wish this review was about them.

I'm so baffled as to why everything is so difficult to do in the back of house. I can't seem to ever get a response back through email unless I try for a month (or more) and even if I'm calling nothing gets done for weeks. A trash can refresh email was sent out in September which I replied to with no response back. A month later, I'm getting calls about doing one completely separate from my email. It then takes another MONTH to get a very high quote for the estimate. I've now been waiting for week with supplies I've sourced myself sitting inside my building because the back of house staff can't find the lock codes for locks they put on themselves. And now I got a call earlier this week saying I wasn't signed up for snow service even though I've been signed up for that service for years. I called back the same day and still haven't heard a response from them, and it's the end of the week now! I cannot figure out why simple responses are so hard to get. And these are just two examples from this quarter - these issues have been happening since at least 2021.

Update: Another year where I haven't been added to snow or reminded about it. I emailed last month asking to confirm I was signed up and heard nothing back. Finally texted today and Hester said I wasn't. Absolutely exhausting.

If you have ever remotely considered a service to bundle your garbage and take it out- look no further!!! The Foot Soldiers are professional, kind, reliable, and communicative. They changed our garbage area from being an overflow of broken down boxes into a tidy space. They work outside without needing you to be home so you can just relax knowing your garbage will be taken out! I can’t recommend more highly!

I am impressed with their responsiveness and they always send photographs and documentation of the completed work. The staff is professional and courteous. This is a company that I would highly recommend to any landlord.

Thank you, Jane, especially for navigating around all those shoes. I always want the hallways to be neat, so if you come across bikes and shoes that are NOT being kept neat, please do take a couple of good pictures of them, so I can see.

I’ve been using the company for several years now and for both snow removal and yard maintenance.

The team has always been punctual and communication has been great. What I’ve loved about the service from the beginning is the fact that Foot Soldiers gives jobs to people in the community who are reliable and need steady employment. It started with a few youths and now it’s expanded to a team that makes me feel great about how my property is maintained.

I will note that things do happen from time to time. For example, the snowstorm last month ended up causing an unusually long delay. What I appreciated was the communication. I never left messages that went into the abyss and the manager was very transparent about where and why things went wrong.

No business is perfect, especially when it’s weather-related. However, I have full confidence in the team that manages my property.
