i walked in with my tail between my legs 3 and a half hours into a fix that was supposed to be under an hour. The John Deere book and parts straight from the company did not seem to match up in the least. The pictures i had taken during disassembly only showed how necessary the fix was. Even though it was a Friday at quitting time, the whole shop rallied to get me on track. They delivered their expertise generously in a manner that didn't leave me feeling embarrassed about my inexperience.

Bought a Husqvarna ST327 snow blower. These models are not available in the big box store, considerable upgrade from what you get at big box and the price was good. John helped me out he was extremely knowledgeable, was able to explain the build in detail and answer technical questions directly in our conversation. Great experience staff there was friendly. Highly recommend!!

I love this place.

My grandfather, an old farmer, went to Foskett’s for decades - actually, Foskett would come to him - to fix a tractor in a field, or pick it up on a flatbed…

I lived in Virginia for a decade before moving back home - and as I walked into Foskett’s for the first time upon returning, John shouted from behind the counter, “Hi, Good to see you! How’s your dad doing?” I indicated I was here for a new chainsaw bar. “Oh, great! Which saw? The Jonsered 630? Husky 181? Or the 345xp?” “Oh, the 630. That should be able to drive a 24-in bar. No trouble. That saw has a 3/8in drive pitch so you’ll want this one here.”

He recognized me after over a decade, and had my father’s saw inventory and specs in his head!

Started by visiting the store on Saturday (supporting local businesses) to have a lawnmower tire repaired. Employee stated it would be cheaper to install a new tube rather than purchase a new tire. Took his advice and gave me a ticket saying my tire would be ready Monday morning. No problem, it was the weekend I understood. Monday came at 1:30 in afternoon I called to confirm tire was ready. I was puy on hd 3 times then told they had not touched my tired. They were going to close early and they were down 2 men. I mentioned that a phone call would have been helpful as I was planning work expecting my tire to be ready that day. Their reply was "that's too bad its hot out". Tuesday at 10:30 am I called asking if tire was ready...put on hold 3 times to be told "we will do it now and have it ready for noon". I asked if they knew how much it would be....put on hold 3 more times. Was told "I dont know, be here for noon"...I arrived at store and was told it would be $65. They charged me $25 for a $9 tube and the remaining cost was labor. I asked them how they believed that was cheaper than a $35 brand new tire or even close to the $9 tube I could buy at any local store. Their reply was "You should have gone there and done that instead of coming here"....my jaw dropped....and he said the tube is $25. I explained to him the frustrating time I had with their business and felt that their customer service was poor and very unprofessional. They lost any future business of ours as we were looking into making future purchases of equipment through them when we dropped off the tire.

Best shop around. John and Ray extremely knowledgeable and the friendliest to deal with, they will never intentionally do anyone wrong. Will only buy products that they sell. This way I don't have to deal with any other place. They have been able to help me with everything, even the products they don't sell. Hands down best place within 100 miles.

Always excellent service, they are my go to store for anything I need. I have purchased my riding mower, chainsaw, leafblower, and snow blower all from Foskett Equipment over the years and they are still going strong. They take the time to listen to what you need and not try to upsell you to something you don't.

These folks are great, bought a new branson tractor a year ago, they have been outstanding, I had 1 issue with the tractor and the part took about a week to get, once they got it in they picked up the tractor, fixed it and had it back to me the next day, they always have my service parts in stock.
