John, Justin and Dave just installed a new HVAC system and did a great job. They were courteous, knowledgeable and respectful. We have carpet in our basement and they brought their own booties and made sure to keep it clean. They seemed like they genuinely cared about us having a great experience.

On 2/27/25 we paid $230 for a maintenance service that within a couple days after, would leave our home without heat or hot water.
Glasco was responsive and sent a second technician (Allen), who was great, and spent 3 hours resolving the issue.
When calling and speaking to one of their managers to ask for compensation for the inconvenience and for the first technician doing something in error, I expecting to receive professional support, but instead I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior. This manager, Will, instead of addressing my concerns, made highly inappropriate comments, questioning whether I was a responsible homeowner, even going as far as asking, “do you do everything 100% right?”, which was completely unnecessary and offensive.
This kind of condescending, rude behavior, is completely unacceptable.
To top it off, when I requested for a callback to speak with one of the owners, Will childishly hung up on me.
As a customer, I should’ve been treated with respect, not condescended too by someone in a managerial position. It is hard to believe that a company would allow such behavior from their leadership.
I waited several days before writing this review to see if I would get a return call from one of the owners, in which I did not .
I expected much better from Glasco, this has left me very dissatisfied and I would not recommend them to anyone based on this experience.

Please read this full review before choosing Glasco for your HVAC needs. There is a big problem with this company, and while there are a few positives, the negatives far outweigh them. Beware.

3 weeks ago, the circulator pump on my boiler went out, so I called Glasco to come out and fix it. They sent a technician right out.

The tech proceeded to diagnose the issue, and provide me with a quote to replace. The quote was very high for a circulator pump install ($1100), but I was desperate and without heat so I accepted.

During the install, the tech tells me I need a new hydrostat, which was quoted at $1400 (this, again, is incredibly high). I also foolishly accepted.

The tech went ahead and installed the circulator pump, and SAID he installed the new hydrostat. Total cost = $2500.

Over the next 4 days, my boilers controller repeatedly tripped off. This happened over 12 times in 4 days, leaving us without heat repeatedly, including overnight all 4 nights. We woke up freezing.

I called Glasco, and they sent out 2 more techs, who said that their first tech MISWIRED the entire setup. This is the reason it kept tripping off. On top of that, the first rep never replaced the hydrostat, which I paid $1400 for!! I later found out the tech was fired.

The new reps fixed the first techs mistake, replaced the hydrostat with the new one i had actually paid for, and left.

3 days later, i had my boiler tuned up with them. $400.

Over the next week and a half, Glasco came back out another 4-5 times for continued issues with the boiler, including deep rumbling, smoking, and electrode issues. What was a simple circulator pump issue turned into a complete nightmare for me and my family. Luckily, they didn't charge me for any of the extra visits.

Last Thursday, I went into my basement and there was water all over the floor. I called Glasco for the 8th time and they came out again. The worst case scenario....my boiler blew.

Glasco sent a sales rep out to quote me on a new boiler. $14,500. This is $3,000 more than any other company i have now gotten quotes with. They offered to discount $1,700 for all the parts I already paid to replace (all of which come with a new boiler), but the end result is $1,300 more than any other company.

I fully believe that the extra strain on the boiler due to the mis-wiring by the first tech caused it to fail. It was working fine up until the circulator was replaced. Since then, it never worked right again until it failed 2 weeks later.

On top of that, they tried to get me to shell out almost $13,000 for a new boiler, way more than any other company, when I already paid them $2,500 for the circulator pump and hydrostat. Total cost would be over $15,000. Ridiculous.

Not only is this company incredibly overpriced, they are dangerous. They ruined my heating system and then tried to charge me an incredible amount to replace the boiler that they had a hand in breaking.

Beware!!!!!
