Right before Christmas we finally finished our long search for a gas fireplace insert. We had priced sets at 2 other places and the price was disappointing! At Hocon, Rich gave us straight answers that we could use a less expensive gas log set in our 80 year old fireplace. The process went smoothly and we had a fire glowing for Christmas! Kevin and his team at Hocon Gas were fantastic. We were looking for a new fireplace and to switch propane suppliers to a local company. Kevin's customer service, attention to detail, and professionalism we're unmatched. Our previous propane supplier was difficult to schedule maintenance and impossible to work with when dealing with billing. Hocon has gone above and beyond whenever we needed them. We recently invested in a Rinnai tankless hot water heater. The experience with the HOCON team was excellent. Mitch was very helpful scoping the job; offering recommendations on which unit would work best; and keeping us updated on the timing of the installation.
Jason, James and Timothy performed the installation and all three were great … respectful, neat, thorough, answered our questions and cleaned up when they were finished.  I definitely would recommend HOCON.

We hired Hocon to replace a 15 yr old electric 80 gallon water heater with a Navien tankless on demand propane water header. We did not have propane. Scott came out to survey matters and recommended a location for the tank; he took photos of the existing water heater and plumbing. We received a quote in about a week. We went down to their office and met with Kevin the branch manager who showed us the two brands they sell and based on his recommendation we went with Navien. Holcon’s team took care of everything from the permit application with our town to installing the tank and running the gas line, to removing the existing tank and installing the new Navien. Kevin and James did the installation and they were extremely hard workers. The installation which included reworking the water lines was very professional. This was an excellent turnkey project for us. Based on Navien’s calculations we expect to save about $6,000 versus the electric heater over the 15 yrs that this unit is under warranty!

Kevin goes above and beyond for his customers. I bought 2 propane fire features for my pool area online and had them installed by another company. They never worked correctly until I meet Kevin. He came to my house and figured out that they installed the wrong gas nozzle. He installed the correct nozzle and now they work great!

Kevin was great to work with at Hocon. The unit was installed last year. Winter 2019. We use the gas fireplace all the time and it works great. Would recommend using Hocon for a gas fireplace installation.
