I am very glad I chose Home Comfort for installation of my new boiler. The whole team was friendly, communicated well and provided thorough information about the product and process. Steve IIl and Dino in particular went out of their way to be helpful and were generous with their time, patience and explanations. Bernadette in the office has the patience of a saint. An exceptional company and I won’t use anyone else! Called home comfort to service my oil boiler/furnace. When I purchased the house I knew it was older. Unfortunately it died 4 weeks after the service. I called Home Comfort and they assessed the issue and had a replacement in the very next day. Steve the owner was super transparent on pricing and it came in under what I expected. The exceptional technicians who diagnosed and replaced the boiler Steve, Eric and Tyler were amazing. They came exactly when they said they would they were kind and got the job done in record time and it looks fantastic. They took their time to explain how the new boiler worked and the warranty. I will be using Home Comfort for all my HVAC needs in the future and highly recommend them to anyone along the Shoreline!

These guys are great! My heat would not start (on the day after Christmas!). I called and Bernadette set up my service call. Dino came over and diagnosed my issue right away, the heat is back on!
The prices are reasonable, the service is great, I am not sure what else you could ask for.
Definitively call them if you need your cooling or heating unit serviced or replaced.

Very personable business that works around your schedule. Our thermostat broke during a recent hot day. We also needed some other maintenance done. Home Comfort explained that everyone was having issues (very understandable -- it was hot) so they came quickly, fixed the thermostat that day, and then came a few days later to do the other stuff. They worked around our toddler's nap schedule well, and I am so impressed with how they prioritize things. We've used them since, and you always get Bernadette on the phone. The technicians explain things well. Would highly recommend.

We started our search for a residential heat pump with Steve, the owner of Home Comfort Heating & Cooling. He came out several times to our home to discuss our needs, see our existing system, measure our ductwork and provide quotes.

Steve was friendly, generous with his time and up-front about the potential downsides with the systems that we were considering. He helped us navigate the heat pump market and find our way to a system that provided what we wanted (a cold-climate ducted heat pump) that fit our home's size and was within our budget. We ended up going with a new model of heat pump that had some improvements we wanted over existing models, but was several weeks from being on the market. This choice required extensive communication and coordination between the manufacturer, distributor and Home Comfort. This process was well managed by all involved and Home Comfort went above and beyond to make sure that we had heat and were minimally inconvenienced during the wait for the new model to be shipped by the manufacturer.

The removal of our old system and our new system install was managed by Steve's son (the younger Steve) who was also very pleasant to work with and up front with his communication.

Throughout our install all of Home Comfort's office staff and technicians were very friendly and professional and they checked in multiple times to make sure that we were happy with their work as it was being done. They were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had and worked with us on small changes and adjustments that we asked for to duct positions and cable routing. We were moderately to highly demanding customers and Home Comfort's technicians delivered on pretty much every request.

The installation felt thoughtful and their checklist covered almost everything I wanted to ask at the end of the job. I also appreciated that the crew showed up exactly on time, let us know when they were leaving for lunch breaks and left at the expected time every day.

It took two days for Home Comfort to install the system and then Steve (the younger) and his crew came out a few days later to fine-tune the system with the manufacturer's representative present as well as the distributor's rep. This was Home Comfort's first time installing our specific system and they wanted to make sure they did everything just right, which we greatly appreciated.

Home Comfort came back again to make sure that we were happy with the system, that we understood how to set up and program our new thermostats and to do a few small tweaks to our ductwork that we had requested. They also sent a technicians to walk our town inspector through the inspection, which made the process very easy for us.

The system has worked very well since the install. We have seen power bills equivalent or slightly below what we were paying for oil heating (which is in-line with expectations) and the system has had no issues since it was installed about three months ago. We replaced a ~30 year old air conditioner and expect to see significantly lower summertime bills.

I can happily recommend Home Comfort Heating and Cooling. They really went above and beyond, were up front with us at every juncture, and worked with us to make sure that we were happy with the system that they installed.

I really can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Steve and his team at Home Comfort. Every step of the process from quote to complete install was smooth, fast, honest, and accurate. We had a complete install of central A/C as well as a couple Mitsubishi ductless units. Steve and all of his crew (including the office staff) were honest, super friendly and very knowledgeable. The crew of guys that came to house (especially Eric and Steve) were respectful and efficient in their work. We're thrilled with the outcome, especially since they finished the whole job a week early!!

My old AC compressor needed to be replaced so I decided to replace the entire HVAC system after 24 years of service. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Steve came to my residence and explained the different options and costs of the equipment and detailed how the entire installation process will work. The crew that did the installation was fantastic and did an excellent job. They were very professional, efficient, clean, respectful of my property and explained what they were doing every step of the way. They would’ve finished the job in one day but due to inclement weather they came back the following morning to install the AC compressor and related equipment. From our first meeting with Steve we felt assured that he knew what we needed. He gave us all the info and answered all our questions as we moved forward to install our new gas furnace. The installation crew were neat and efficient. We are very happy and warm with our new unit!
