My experience with Homeatead Comfort last month (November 14, 2024) was fantastic!!! Spencer Ramsdell, their technical sales representative came out on a Thursday morning and was courteous, knowledgeable, personable, professional, and prompt. He detailed the two options available to replace my "expired" gas boiler system. I selected the high efficiency Bosch system and it has been running like a champ. Their installation technicians, Todd and Billy, also exhibited the same above characteristics. They showed up promptly the following Tuesday morning...removed the old system, had the new system installed, up and running Wednesday afternoon. I highly recommend Homestead Comfort for your HVAC needs!!

We needed a new complete Heat pump system so we got several quotes and having been ripped off previously by another contractor, we did our research and choose Homestead Comfort. The salesman was great, he came very quickly, the installers were very polite, cleaned up you would not know they were here. The temps outside were very cold, they worked as it was 72 out. Clean install, polite employees. Very happy.

Had a heat pump installed, ducts Aero Sealed and attic insulation blown in. Cody, Billy, Austin, Cliff and Clinton were all very skilled, knowledgeable, professional, helpful and pleasant. All the work they did was very well done. So happy with everything!

We installed a new central air system in our 1960s home. We received four estimates. While Homestead was not the least expensive, it was the most complete estimate and the salesperson took a lot of time to explain. The installation crew (Jake and Ben) were really amazing. They worked so hard and nonstop for seven days. Jake and Ben were honest and solved any problems that came up during the installation. The Install Manager (Toni) was always available if I had a question. The work ethic of Jake, Ben and Toni made me feel comfortable that I switch my boiler maintenance to Homestead.

Steve and Dan did a terrific job with a beautiful installation. They put up with my constant questioning of what they were doing and answered everything I asked. We had Homestead Comfort install Mitsubishi mini splits in our “new” home (fully renovated 1919) house in West Hartford. It was just after the first July heat wave, which we suffered through, and we were pretty desperate for the job to be completed before the arrival of the 2nd major July heat wave. They did not disappoint.

Spencer was our sales rep who wrote up the proposals on what options we had. He was thorough and kept on top of the project from beginning to end.

Mike was the on site technician who managed the project and gave us last minute advice on the best placement of the four mini splits. We had purchased a condenser to allow 4 but had only ordered 3, thinking we’d decide later if we needed a fourth one.

Instead on the day of installation, he advised us about air flow and cooling, and recommended we purchase and install a 4th unit, which he was absolutely correct about. It was excellent advice. Thankfully, he was able to get it delivered to the house within hours.

He told me from the beginning that he cared about aesthetics and my husband and I do too. He and his crew did a tremendous job figuring out how to make the wiring work through original thick walls and very small ceiling spaces and all of it is covered up beautifully. Outside you cannot tell it isn’t original to the design of the house. They all did an excellent job over two full days.

And Toni, the office install scheduling manager pulled off a miracle as the scope of the project grew. She was able to assign two additional technicians to the job to assist Mike’s crew and ensure the job could be completed by Friday evening, so we would have A/C over the weekend. We did in time for the arrival of the heatwave.

We highly recommend Homestead. They gave us good advice and very good service. And a nice cool house to enjoy. With a condenser that’s virtually noiseless.

We ran into a furnace issue and through a builder we work with were given the number for Homestead. They attended to our issues right away and were helpful and pleasant. I will be using them in the future for sure and would recommend to anyone!
