This is a first class operation. I had a great experience there prior to Covid, but hadn't been back in years & wasn't sure it would be the same. It wasn't, it was better. From start to finish the process was personable, efficient, and thorough. Every employee seems to enjoy working there & they provide outstanding service. I will be back the next time my car needs attention & highly recommend them to anyone needing auto service & repair.

Very nice people to work with! I own a 1964 Thunderbird, restoration project. Originally I worked on it myself but as my business grew I had to relegate the work to others. Unfortunately most other shops could not be bothered with this car Others made me wait forever before they would even look at it. I met Chris at a car show and he was eager to take it on. The shop was clean, everyone there had a positive attitude, and -- very important to me -- I was able to chat directly with the technicians who were working on the car. It so happened that I was working toward a deadline for an upcoming car event, and they came through. I picked up the car and had a wonderful time at the event. It's not finished, yes this is a 61-year-old project with a laundry list, but I'm looking forward to returning to get more work done to bring this car back to its original glory. Thank you for working with me, and providing great service!

I hardly write reviews, but I am so impressed with Jim Taylor automotive that I have to. I have been coming to Jim Taylor automotive for the last two years. I was recommended by their sister company Jesse‘s garage. Jesse‘s garage works on European cars while Jim Taylor works on all other cars. The past 64 years I have lived in Chicago Washington DC, and now Florida and this is by far the most professional group of people I have ever met in The car garage business. They are the most honest and professional company around. I highly recommend them to anybody.

We had the occasion to take our vehicle to Jim Taylor automotive after failing to have it properly repaired at another business. The mechanics here were very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and professional. They identified the issue with our car and fixed it quickly. We highly recommend this automotive group.

I was traveling for work when my check engine light came on and engine started shaking. I called ahead and stopped in, they were able to get me in pretty quickly to diagnose what was obviously some sort of misfire. After looking at my truck, the guy at the desk said it would be $900+ to replace spark plugs and another $178 if they have to replace a coil. I was on a work trip with nothing nearby and had to get it fixed asap so I agreed. I assumed spark plugs and parts must be much more now than before. The guy at the desk apologized that they had to wait hours for the spark plugs to arrive. I was there 4 hours total from arrival at 1:15pm to departure around 5:15pm. The mechanic even told me “it took me 15 minutes to get the plugs in and sealed, and the coil will only take me a few minutes.” I understand on an F150 you have to remove the intake and there’s a diagnosis period. so being very generous maybe 2 - 2.5 hrs total of labor with diagnosis and all. Even with that, they must charge $3-400/hr for labor. I walked out often to see that they were not working on my truck, just waiting on parts to arrive. The workers were very nice, they were able to get the job done so I cannot be too mad about the situation that I somewhat agreed to, but for a review/recommendation if you have any other options or spare time at all, I would definitely check around for someone who doesn’t charge $3-400+/hr for labor. Just asking other shops in the area after, I was quoted ~$600 for the same job including parts.
