We used to live in Vista and took all our cars to Sam for many years. We moved over 30 minutes away a few years ago, but still go back to Sam's repair shop for repairs and maintenance. Honest, more than fair, and experienced, Sam always does an amazing job. If your car needs many things done and you are evaluating the repair costs, he will make you a list of what you should have done immediately, what can wait for awhile (and tell you how long), and what you don't need to worry about. I won't go anywhere else for car repairs!

Great mechanic, amazing owners, and very kind and warming people overall! Helped with a used car inspection and had a lot of great pointers, and then got me up and running with a simple oil change once I bought the car. Feels like you're being looked out for and given a balanced perspective on what should/shouldn't be done at the given moment. There were a few things I was concerned about to maybe do at some point maintenance wise (air filters, etc.) but I felt like the owner gave me a good reason based on my current ones why I could wait an extra 10-20K miles, etc. Fair and honest!

I have been going to Kar Kare Clinic for over 25 years. If we break down far away, we pay for the tow to take it to Sam. You will never find a more capable and honest mechanic anywhere. He has refused to fix my car in the past because the repair would cost more than the car is worth. He is all about service and getting his customers back on the road for the lowest price.
