Extemely unprofessional and inexperienced. Basically a thief and con artist. I cant imagine he has any real mechanical experience. Bring your vehicle here at your own risk. It ended up costing me thousands in repairs after driving my truck in fine. He will not honor his work, and will try to cover up damage caused by his lack of proper equipment and inexperience. Broke a fastener glued it back in the hole to cover it up. 3 stripped bolts and a broken stud. placed bolts of different lengths in wrong holes. Excessive sealant caused a oil starvation. Contaminated all oil and coolant system.

Had zero brakes coming into Homer. Lonnie did the fluids, brake pads, brake lines, rotors, u joint, and let me know about all the other problems. Awesome communication and pretty reasonable for the peace of mind. Thanks Lonnie you're the man

I was told I needed a new $7200 engine by a shop in Kenai. A friend from Homer told me about Lonnie so I took my Chevy Tahoe to him, after 5 months of struggling w/ 'the other shop' and spending $5k to get it back in Worse condition.
Lonnie fixed my engine and upgraded many extras on my vehicle. The cost to fix my engine was only $1700. Lonnie tracks down the issues, using years of knowledge and experience to locate the trouble and fix only what is needed, using quality parts that he doesn't 'mark-up'.
Lonnie is a man of integrity who respects his customers, charging reasonable prices for Excellent work. I will be recommending Lonnie's Automotive to Everyone I know. Thank you, Lonnie. You helped me more than you'll ever know.

Incompetent, charges twice the hours and you leave with more problems than you cane in with- doesnt even have proper tools for the job- doesnt honor warranties. Very very poor customer service - will literally crow bar apart your engine - sickening 🤢🤢🤮

Went to Lonnie with a rear driver side break line leak I still had breaks at the time replaced the one side but he said he did both sides but that was a lie he only did the rear drivers side he wanted to change me for two hours worth of work it only took him half an hour I know because I went back a half an hour after I walked to the library to get my backpack and he was done but now my brakes were squishy and the brake icon on my dash wouldn't turn off he wanted to send me on my way with no brakes I literally had to put the peddle to the floor to stop.
Update/reply to Lonnie's comment: you also said you did both sides of the rear brake lines which was a lie you only did the driver side and sent me away with no brakes and I don't need a master cylinder if you would have bled my brakes properly which I had to do myself to get my brakes back and the the brake icon on my dash to go off and you left brake fluid all on my brake drums and calipers. I'm sorry Lonnie but that's no way do things you made a mistake own it I forgive you I appreciated you taking on the job but $150 for what was done is no way worth it I'll send you $50 for what you did.

Awesome, Honest Knows his trade, was able to physically show me what was wrong with my vehicle and pointed out a lot of other things that needs work. Would definitely return if I need more work done. Great business, Highly recommend.

Lonny is a great and understanding mechanic! I had problems with my transfer case and tyranny and he got my car running in a heart beat. Greatest service in Homer.
