I’m very happy with the finished product from Maglieri and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new driveway around the greater Hartford area at a fair price. They demolished my old driveway, removed difficult to compact rocks in my backyard, and placed a good base course & compacted in only a few hours. I finally have more space to entertain and work on my car in my backyard!

Maglieri Construction did a brilliant job installing a beautiful new gravel driveway at our house. The company was reliable, professional, and a pleasure to deal with from the initial estimate to the job completion. The crew worked together with the precision of a ballet company, instantly materializing with the right cast and equipment at every step of the job. Amazingly, they were able to remove and replace our 2,500 sf asphalt driveway with beautiful 3/4" gravel in about three hours, not including a brief delay in the gravel delivery. Mainly, though, they were super careful in every aspect of the project and took great pride in their work. I recommend the company wholeheartedly and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Maglieri is an excellent company to work with. We had our driveway done by Maglieri in 2009 ( 15 years ago) .
The driveway is still in excellent condition after all these years. We would recommend them to anyone looking for long -lasting , professional driveway work.

I’m actually surprised to read the negative reviews but I know that everyone has a different experience. I had a wonderful experience with Maglieri. The owner negotiated a fair price, they started early in the season and did a wonderful job. I was impressed that both father and son were on the job from beginning to end. They made sure to deliver the quality that they would stand behind.
We love our driveway and it looks amazing!
We can’t vouch for a few years down the line - but it looks like quality that will certainly last! After several bad experiences with finding quality driveway repair - I’m happy that we finally found this company.

Got 2 quotes for repaving of my driveway in 2016. Maglieri was the lower price and the main difference was they said we didn't need to add drainage. The explanation given for why I didn't need the drainage proposed by the competitor sounded good to me, and they were quite a bit less than the other bid as well. They said they'd also encase our invisible dog fence in piping under the new driveway. Upon completion, they cut our invisible fence and did not bury it in conduit as promised so they had to come back and saw cut the new driveway and repair the fence. It took them several months to do this. About 2 years after install, the driveway began cracking in the same spots it had cracked prior to repaving. I've now left at least 8 messages over 2 years and have yet to receive a call back. Today, the woman who answered the phone informed me that they only warrant their work for 1 year and that although she is new, she is pretty sure that was their warranty in 2016 as well and that is probably why I haven't gotten a call back. I don't normally post reviews, but this one has been well-earned. I paid $15,000 for a driveway that didn't last 2 years. I guess you do get what you pay for...lower price means lower quality and lesser service.
