Super super super nice and friendly! I would 100% recommend this company! The cable connecting the oil tank and the furnace had a leak so my brother called them and they came through and replaced the cable and did a maintenance inspection. Price was reasonable and in the middle. Victor was very open and honest about what needed to be done and gave us suggestions with different price tags and kept our budget in mind. I would 100% would call again if I have another problem with my furnace or oil tank!

I request service for the Navien boiler heater, which 3 way valve was not working.
The technician named Mike came the first day and changed only the engine to the valve. Boiler work for 30 min and stop working. The next day, he came and changed the 3-way valve and damage 4 gasket and physical broke heating strainer (an other part) and boiler leak water because of those damages.
So I am 4 days without heating at house and from 1 part not working. I have 6 parts which it will cost me to replace the same as the new unit.
If you have Navien, I suggest staying away from this company.

We called a lot of companies in the area for no heat and no hot water and a lot of the companies could not provide service. We called modern and their customer service was excellent. They sent a tech out to help us with our situation, they sent over a professional technician named Victor, whom is very knowledgeable about our Lochinvar Noble combi boiler, a lot of companies did not want to service or had knowledge about our boiler. Victor was very knowledgeable, he had great customer service and he was vey professional. I highly recommend this company and technician Victor.

Heat went out during the middle of a family emergency and on the day we had an out of town family member coming in due to the emergency. I was convinced we needed a whole new boiler and very nervous.

There is a $189 charge to come out -- which can be credited to repairs -- but I was worried about getting someone in right away and decided to go ahead. I scheduled the first available appointment but let them know it would be during the time I was supposed to be picking up my guest at the airport. They told me they would see what they could do, then called back within 10 minutes to let me know that Victor was 10-15 minutes from me and could come right away.

Victor was great. Our house was a disaster and he was professional, kind, and not visibly phased in the least. He told me everything he was doing, identified the issue pretty quickly, helped me understand the nature of my issue, and even addressed questions and made some documentation about another issue I have been having that doesn't need to be addressed just yet. I felt the service was superb.

My problem ended up being my thermostat. The fix was on the pricier side, just under $400, but it was worth it to me to have such a quick fix.

Modern heating is great to work with. If you like text they are very good at it which I appreciate. Their workers are friendly, take their time explaining things, and are thoughtful to cover their feet and put down mats. We ultimately needed an expensive fix (which after 30 years was no surprise) but they made it very fast and easy to take care of the financial piece which was a weight off our shoulders from having to go figure that out. Overall great experience would recommend to my family and friends.
