My elderly mother lives in New Haven County, CT and during one of our recent heat waves her air conditioning went down. I called two HVAC companies on a Thursday morning and Paraco HVAC immediately dispatched a representative to my Mom's house to assess the situation. After an initial visit on Thursday afternoon, Paraco HVAC had two new coils (inside and out) installed by Tuesday and her house was cool by Tuesday afternoon! The other company's install date was two weeks later. Not only was Paraco HVAC extremely responsive and understanding of the situation (extreme heat and elderly occupant), the overall Paraco HVAC experience was terrific. They were very professional, efficient, communicative and provided a competitive price.

I'd also like to send a special thank you to the install team. They arrived exactly at the time they said they would on Tuesday, were very professional, courteous and put my Mom at ease. They worked very well together and clearly were a team. They were done by mid-afternoon, keeping my Mom in the loop every step of the way. The house was cool within a couple hours of completion and my Mom couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Paraco HVAC.

Michael and Matt at Chickos Energy Services are amazing. Everyone I have had the pleasure to speak with has been helpful, patient, and professional! They replaced my oil tanks today and it looks better than when we got there. They worked fast, efficiently, and made sure I was happy before they left. They even swept my basement and my garage where there was debris from the work without me asking. The quote we got was very competitive and honest for the work we received. I have now switched to using Chickos Energy Services for my oil delivery and AC repair/maintenance. Great local, family company!!

Extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. Did exactly what they promised, cutting no corners. I especially appreciate the effort they put in to minimize the amount of external channels for the heat pump system they installed. The system works great and costs less to operate than I expected. Mike Chickos knows his stuff. Evan and Jimmy were on the job when promised and were always pleasant and hard-working.

Have used and loved Cole’s for 7 years.
Recently they were purchased out by Paraco. It seems this has complicated things in terms of oil purchase/delivery, and certainly with trouble shooting and customer service.
Paid for a repair, they came out and did it. A week later the repair guy shows up again with no notice, claiming he had to finish the work he told us was already complete (and then charged us for the second visit). Then we had an issue with the man who works in Cole’s - he somehow misidentified the balance on the account by a few hundred dollars. Once we identified this issue, the man at Cole’s shrugged and said, ‘call paraco, not my problem.’

My parents used Cole’s Heating and Cooling for 30+ years. My father passed away in 2013 and my mother made an arrangement with Cole’s to pay $300 month year round. Well, Cole’s is now Paraco HVAC and they refuse to honor the agreement she had with Cole’s. The only way they would have delivered today was if she paid them $800 which she didn’t have to give them. Individuals in their late 70’s are on fixed incomes and it’s sad that these large companies are not willing to work with them whatsoever. We contacted a new company and they will be delivering tomorrow. Paraco clearly doesn’t care about their customers, and I’m glad she found a new business for oil deliveries.

I had my 60+ year old boiler replaced. Absolutely incredible service from start to finish. I was very impressed by the teams kindness, knowledge and honesty. A special shout out to Zach, he was especially helpful in not only making sure the job was done but done correctly. Out of all the contractors I’ve worked with, this team is the best!

This was the first time I used this company, but won’t be the last. I was very impressed with the communication and ease of doing business. The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. The price was even less than what I have paid for this service in the past. Needless to say, I was very satisfied.

Just had my AC tuneup. Still very satisfied with the service and company as a whole. I would recommend them.
