Everyone will need a locksmith in their life sooner or later and my suggestion is to put Charlie's number from Pop-A-Lock in your phone record. My lock on the front door of my business in Avon was malfunctioning as I went to close up last night. The next day my landlord told me that their locksmith would need two to three days to arrive or suggested we could unbolt the door and bring it to them. After I stopped convulsing with laughter, I randomly called Charlie who assured me that he understood my concern about securing my door and would do his best to arrive that day. He walked through the door several hours later and the lock started working by itself. Charlie did not get upset nor did he charge me for his time and I couldnt even make him take $20 for his gas. He taught me what to look for in case it fails again and even provided a quote should it need to be repaired.

Nissan pathfinder keyless key was not reading properly to start my car. Called around to other places and was given so many outrageous prices or given one price and then a higher price right before someone came out. Finally called Pop-A-Lock and Charlie explained to my fiancé and I what he could do but stayed up front he could not guarantee it would work which we appreciated. Charlie came out today and spent 3 hours reprogramming the key over and over again for the car to basically reset itself each time. After more research we figured out there is a recall on the ITkey system. However, the service was excellent, friendly and honest! There isn’t much honestly in a lot of businesses and it was refreshing to have such great service. If you need a business you can trust please look no further. Charlie saved the day for me today. My front door locked was jammed and I could not get it unlocked and so therefore I could not even open the front door. I called another locksmith that I have used before and the soonest they could get here was almost 2 weeks from today! I was shocked because I kind of considered this a little bit of an emergency situation situation.

Charlie was able to make it here today… The same day that I called him. He really made an effort to help me out and he got my lock working again! He could not have been nicer or more helpful! The lock is going to need to be replaced and there is nobody else that I will ask to do it but him. He will be my go to locksmith in the future for sure.

I can't recommend Charlie and Pop-A-Lock highly enough. He re-keyed 2 locksets and a deadbolt to match the key to my front door so that all my locks worked with the same key. I had expected the turnaround to take a few days, so imagine my surprise when the job was done the very next day. Friendly, professional, prompt, and maybe most importantly, trusted service.
