Since I was buying my car from a private dealer across the country, I wanted an independent expert to do an unbiased Pre-purchase inspection (PPI). I looked up Porsche dealers and PPI experts near Bridgeport , CT. I found Repasi motors and was impressed by the experience and qualification of the James and Jim.

I spoke with James Repasi (owner) who explained clearly and patiently, what's included in the PPI. Since the car was a 2022 model with less miles, he suggested that I didn't need to do other checks he would have recommended had it been an older Porsche. No upsell trying to scare the customer into buying something not needed. I felt comfortable that this was a team that has a passion for cars and want their customers to be happy. I was not wrong!

James coordinated with the dealer and after the PPI, promptly called me and sent the report across and offered to walk me through it. I called back and he made himself available immediately. It was a very thorough report identifying even small scuffs, etc. beside the usual.

James gave me his opinion on some of the items and what I could realistic expect to get fixed. He gave advice on tires that I should consider while replacing in the future.

Let me preface this by saying I do not own a Porsche Carrera GT. I looked online for a local shop who had a hunter roadforce elite machine and competent techs to balance some new-to-me wheels on my c6 z06. They got me in asap and resolved the vibrations I was experiencing above 70 mph, for LESS than the local Chevy dealer quoted. I honestly felt a little weird bringing my car to a renowned carrera GT specialist, but I was extremely impressed by how welcoming, unpretentious, and professional they were. Shop was immaculate. They brought me in and showed me the actual wheels on the machine, explaining everything thoroughly. Great Communication. Nothing but positive things to say. 11/10 would highly recommend for anyone looking for a local, highly competent shop!

Great experience with Repasi! Had coolant lines welded on my 03 996 turbo & a slew of other work. Couldn't be happier with the customer experience and expertise over here, + the shop is filled with magnificent Porsches to gawk at 😂

I had a first class experience bringing my 2007 GT3 to Repasi Motorwerks for major service. Jimmy and his team were great to deal with and kept me updated throughout the process including sending photos of many of the different steps being done while the engine was out. The workshop is immaculate and you can immediately tell why people send their cars from across the country for service here.

They addressed all of the major service items the car needed including welding the infamous Mezger coolant pipes and replacing the rear main seal. We I also upgraded to a new clutch and LWFW, new suspension, and installed a full Dundon motorsports exhaust and power package. Having now had the car back for a few weeks I am amazed at how much better it drives and how responsive the steering is with the alignment they did. It feels like a new car and I will definitely be coming back for continued maintenance.

5 stars is not enough for the level of service, care and attention to detail James and his team instills in their work. My Turbo S went in for a coolant leak, James and his team found 3 other issues and fixed them all, the quality of workmanship, the cleanliness of the shop and the level of service in unrivaled. I have never had a team be so professional, knowledgeable or spend the time to explain the work required along with the options. I can not say enough good things about Repasi Motorwerks, so do yourself a favor and send your car to them, you will be so glad you did. Also I want to give a shout out to the Rennlist community who instructed me to choose Repasi over any other option. Such a good choice. Thank you James and Team -

I’m not even sure where to begin! I purchased surface transform brakes and rotors to upgrade my steel brakes on my Lamborghini. The process was a little lengthy, but, BUT! James, went ABOVE ABOVE ABOVE and beyond to make it up to me. Just, unheard of what he did. I’m still in disbelief. You can tell he just cares. And assumes responsibility although it was factors WELL BEYOND his control. He just wanted to make sure I was happy and he did it. I haven’t driven the car yet but, I’m forever thankful for the level of service I received.

James Repasi is absolutely many steps above your average Porsche Dealership. The Service he performed on my car was like having a world renowned surgeon work on your heart. He doesn’t have to perform miracles because he is close to god when it comes to working on your Porsche. He took my 991 4S and made able to break 1 minute lap at Lime Rock. His recommendations of the performance parts to use was perfect!
