Their drivers are terrible I guess. My neighbors, a home healthcare worker and I were blocked in for half an hour this morning because their driver decided to park across from a parked car. He wouldn’t move, the company was no help. Three feet forward and this all could have been avoided. The best part is that when he moved, he blocked another street.

Called several contractors to replace older oil furnace and Richs rep gave a great price. Service techs were friendly and very knowledgeable. Install went without a hitch and I was very pleased with the end results. Would recommend again and again.

We had a contract with another company that sent out techs (who really tried) but couldn't figure out the problem. They basically wrote us off, told us we needed a new furnace, and wouldn't refund any part of our contract, even though they 'couldn't' fix the issue. We called Rich's and asked for an estimate for a new furnace. They came out, actually made an adjustment to the furnace that made it much better (and safer until we had made a decision) and suggested we probably didn't need a new furnace just a service call to get to the bottom of the issue. We were so impressed that they didn't just press for the new furnace. We did decide to replace it, since it was getting up there in age, and went with Rich's. Great service people, friendly, and patient with all of our questions. This is honestly the best experience we have had with customer service since Covid came around! And a bonus? they were the most reasonably priced! We have now become their customers, will continue with a contract with them, and order oil from them. I don't give out positive reviews easily but I feel confident doing so for Rich's.

Riches oil service for the most part has always been dependable. Recently, I found their customer service was actually very evasive, condescending and very unhelpful. I had made an appointment for Furnace Cleaning a good month and a half prior. With a window of 2 hours, in the afternoon I called one hour into it, to find out what the status was, and all of a sudden there was a surprise element that they weren't here, and then always having to check with customer service to find out what the status was. Long lengths of hold on the phone, needless to say they never came even though I said they could come late. Would not recommend them.

Never had an issue with the oil delivery drivers, the plumber they sent was great, and I had them install a new oil tank and was happy with their work and service, technicians were great.
I think that they could definitely improve their customer service, it's not terrible, just could be better imo. That's the only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars.

Had water leaking from my gas furnace. Called Rich's they were very polite and fixed the problem quickly. There prices were great I was impressed with the technician and the job he did.

Service tech's are friendly but they lie. Service manager is very rude and also lies. The service manager threatened to pull his guys off the job of fixing my heating and leave me with no heat in the middle of winter. They over charged me and I paid, because my choice was pay or freeze. I do not recommed this company.

Their service is outstanding! I’ve used them several times. Our 15 year old tank started leaking last winter and we called them to have someone come over and patch it for a week until they could put a new one in.

Then earlier this week we called to have our yearly oil burner cleaned and maintained. Bill, the technician was absolutely awesome. He sat there with me showing everything and how our boiler works and what to look out for since it’s 21 years old. You could tell he loved his job. He’s definitely a valuable employee!
