These two have to be the happiest, friendliest and most efficient DMV personnel that I have ever encountered in any state and at any tym. Give them a raise! Make Sandra stop smoking as it will steal away her natural beauty. rt/ SOV

Went in to get my license back, front door was broken, no working lights, the ceiling is falling in from water damage, the guy working had no clue what he was doing and refused my medical paperwork because it wasn’t filled out how HE wanted it. Will never be going back and will be filing a formal complaint. If you want stuff done, don’t go to this DMV.

I had a great experience. I made (2) appointments for the same day. 1 for my Real Alaskan ID, (1) for driver’s license as I just moved up. Both DMV employees Tim and Sandra were very friendly and extremely helpful. They made both transactions as smooth as possible and I was in and out within the hour.

I typically dread needing to go to any DMV for anything, but my recent experience was a great one! I needed to renew my license and get a Real ID. Tim was very helpful with making sure I had the right paperwork in order to make it a smooth process. He was patient and kind the whole time and easy to talk with. Thank you, Tim, for the positive experience!

I really like the fact that you make appointments. The website does not mention you have to make an appointment for every transaction. So whoever is in charge of the website really needs to address that as the employees are getting blamed for the lack of information on the many changes that are happening (such as 1 transaction per appointment). That is not the employees rule and that needs to be made clear in hopes to prevent confusion, frustration and a bad experience.

Our local Homer DMV is one of the best. Sandra is awesome to work with and does everything within her means to help you. I am in there 10 of the 12 months a year with company business and Sandra has always greet me with a smile and positive happy attitude. Even after dealing with disgruntle customers.

Times they are a changin'!!
There was a time that if you needed to go to the Homer DMV, you took the day off work and planned to spend half the day in a long wait line. You also braced yourself for an angry assault from the staff and to made to feel inferior for not fully understanding the numerous DMV forms and procedures.
Today, with the advent of COVID19, we now have to make an appointment online. For those without technological savvy, that can be daunting.
However, when you get to the appointment, you are greeted by friendly helpful staff that work to make the processes efficient, effective and you leave feeling like you actually accomplished your task.
Tim at the Homer DMV is the best! He quickly walked me through everything I needed and didn't make me feel like an idiot when I had the wrong information. He actually helped to correct my error and I find myself NOT fearing my next excursion to the Homer DMV! Thank you, Tim, for making my day go so much smoother!
