Been a customer for about 5 years and never needed service outside business hours till 2 weeks ago. It was very cold and I lost heat
I called and left a few messages and talked to someone that told me he will contact the service center and get back to me.
He never got back to me and I had to pay premium pricing for another oil delivery company because I don’t by my oil from them
They also charged me full price for my last oil delivery when they should’ve given me 10c off / gallon as usual
This company treats customers nicely during the summer but not nice during winter especially the end of winter

We recently had our oil storage tank replaced for a new Roth Double-wall 275 gallon tank. The tank that was replaced was 55 years old and while it didn’t leak, it smelled badly. The Taylor Team did an absolutely outstanding job removing the old tank from the basement, out our hatchway opening. Installing the new tank was done flawlessly as the team worked together and worked very professionally. I’m glad to be a long term Taylor Energy customer as they have always kept customer service and satisfaction important.

Have been a customer for about two years and have been pleased with their service. The office staff is awesome as well as the service technicians that have worked on our boiler. We had an issue last year and needed our burner replaced and due to the age of our boiler asked if we should consider a replacement. Tech (sorry don't recall the name) said our boiler should last us another ten years. Any time I've had an issue with a bill (honestly one time) it was promptly addressed. Highly recommend Taylor Energy.

We have been a long time customer, Jan 18th, I called for emergency service as we didn’t have heat. My husband was coming home from rehab and needed help. Service man came and got us some help,, said he fixed it for the time being. Called the next day to see when he was going to finish it. Said he didn’t know what he was going to do as he didn’t have the parts. He also said he wasn’t obligated to come as we didn’t have a contract. Heat went out again and we had to call another service. So sad the company is. No owner on the weekend, only answering service

Had an awful experience with this company. If you have a Google Nest or any smart thermostat go elsewhere, their head tech Steve and crew have no idea how they work nor do they care to learn. We had a wiring issue with no power to the thermostat and other malfunctions.

They sent out one tech, couldnt find the problem after 2 hours. Then they sent out their service manager Steve and Ryan, 2 hours of diagnosis and they suggested a c wire to help power the thermostat. I was questioning their diagnosis since it wasn't making sense based on what I know about my system, but trusted them against my better judgement as Steve assured me this would fix the problem. They voiced their displeasure working on smart thermostats the entire time(isn't that a big thing in their industry? I'm a bad customer because I have one of those evil smart thermostats? I digress...)

After hours of diagnosis and q&a with the techs about my system and nest thermostat, I was told by Taylor energy that I needed a common wire and one of my nest thermostats was bad. Fine. Do what you have to do, I'll deal with Google. Two techs came out the following week and installed the c wire, the nest still read no power after they left and the heat turned on without the thermostat calling. I called back immediately and was told they'd come back out. They came right back and shut off the system since it was uncontrollably heating one of my zones. I was then told I probably have a bad heating zone valve body and they could fix that for me, it was obvious at this point the techs didn't really know what the issue was and were simply guessing (expensive guessing). They installed the c wire they said would fix my problem but instead I was back to square 1! After 4 trips out! Very frustrated and fed up, I called a different company to take a look. Fixed within 3 hours! At a cheaper price! Nothing was wrong with my nest thermostats or the zone valve, instead it was a wiring issue. I'll update if anything changes but one week later and no issues! What a night and day difference in companies.

When I received the taylor invoice I was charged for the c wire installation with trip fees and diagnostic fees added on, obviously I disputed that, and heres the kicker...the owner Catherine calls me and proceeds to argue with me about paying for something that wasn't even done correctly, closes my account because "they don't like dealing with rude people like me" and then asks again for me to pay! We settled on a lower amount which we paid just to be done with them. I was totally floored by the top to bottom dishonesty and incompentence I experienced when dealing with this company. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your hvac needs.

I have been with Taylor Energy for several years now and highly recommended them up until this year. I no longer recommend them. We were very dissatisfied with their annual maintenance as we encountered a problem which occurred right away upon using the system which should not have happened had the maintenance been properly performed. They insisted however, after telling us they would not charge for that service call upon charging us for it. We will be opening up a BBB complaint.

On 4-23-24 the crew from Taylor Energy came and did a deep clean on 4 LG mini split heads and cleaned the outdoor condensers. Taylor Energy (who came highly recommended even came out to Southwick, MA) did the installation on the condensers and the heads about a year ago. The crew that did the install was top notch and the service manager Steve was pleasurable to deal with (had a defective part from the manufacturer.) Steve dealt with everything and got us a replacement installed in 2 days. The crew that did the cleaning were aces. They answered all my questions and were very professional. I have recommended this company to friends and colleagues
