I needed to rent a trailer to tow a motorcycle and called up and spoke to Evan on the phone and then came in and he helped me. What a gem of a store, has all the flair of a modern business with the personal touch of having personable employees. Evan was a huge help, checked the lot to see if there was a return that wasn't registered as having been back in the lot, and took his time breaking down what I have to pay and how to navigate the rental.

I came back and Craig was just as helpful when I returned it. Super outgoing employees, super friendly, and if I didn't live on the north end of Denver they'd be my go to store. I do know if I'm ever back down there I'll gladly give them my business.

Big enough to have just about all you need, but held together with that mom and pop shop feel of yesteryear.

Awesome as usual. Called about a 3/4" ball valve with union. When I got there the sprinkler person had to leave. The Ace team was undaunted. A phone call later, I had my valve. Wife is coming back tomorrow to shop for plants. They are a full service nursery too!

I had purchased some items from a different Ace location. Went to the Iliff location and they would not take the return there because they are individually owned and operated. 800 Customer Support said same thing. Went to the Big Tool Box and they stocked them and gave me a refund. Nice Job, BTB! Appreciate you...

They have a great selection for hardware and everything, but when you get the five dollars off coupon, they may get very difficult to use, everyone in the store is very friendly and helpful but no one can help you use your coupons. Try to get you to do a bunch of stuff online that’s confusing, they did try to help, but inevitably, I’m going to have to purchase my item online, Come back into the store, return it, then buy it again hoping that my five dollars coupon hasn’t expired by this time. Again, everyone is fantastic in the store very friendly and helpful. I just wish they could figure out how to make the coupons usable when purchasing online. Also, a lot of the stuff on their website says it’s in stock in the store and it’s not. Most of my complaints have to do with their digital platform.

I don't think I'm their target market. The gentleman assisting me made an honest (albeit uninformed and impersonal) attempt to help me, everyone else was rather cold or rude. Bummer though, the store is really nice and we are redoing our landscaping next spring.

As with Ace Hardware stores around the country, they pretty much have what you need. Warehouse home store didn't have the plumbing strap I needed but I had a good feeling that Ace would. Plenty on hand and with a good selection of types (copper, plastic, galvanized). Adequate, attentive staff.

They have a great selection of patio, garden supplies. Such a friendly & helpful staff..

Big Tool Box is a Ace hardware brand but locally owned. They have been in business in centennial for many years. This new location is down south on Parker / Hess Rd.

If your looking for sprinkler center, garden center, and rental and lawnmower repairs, they have everything and more. They are also authorized vendors for Traeger and Green Egg if you need help on selecting a grill.

They support local businesses and there's even a section with handmade birdhouses. This is a great addition for the town of Parker oppose to the Home Depot of the world.

My May 25, 2024 visit to The Big Tool Box (Parker) reminded me that I am a person of color shopping in Parker/Douglas County.

I have been a fan of The Big Tool Box since I discovered the original location (Centennial) may years ago and was super excited when the Parker location opened a few years ago. (I have told numerous people about The Big Tool Box). The Parker location is much closer for me. After my experience on May 25th, I will now have to start driving to the Centennial location again. During my last visit to the Parker location, I walked past no fewer than 8 associates (in both the Garden Center and inside the store) who didn't bother to acknowledge my presence or even welcome me. I even watched as white person after white person were acknowledged and asked if they needed assistance. This was so shocking because I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at the Parker location during my many previous visits (especially from an older lady from Texas who worked the outside registers). The sad part is that I called to speak to the store manager (around Noon on Saturday) and he was too busy to even bother with me. As of this review, he has still not reached out to me. Sad.

If you're a person of color, you may want to take your business elsewhere. If you're white...you'll be fine. Back to Centennial I go.
