Paul is a very knowledgeable and professional repairman. You can easily book an appointment with him and he will show up right on time. He will come to your home and do the work required on site. He brings all of his tools and equipment with him in his truck and will order needed parts in advance with an initial inspection in person or through photos that you can provide of the machine. My snowblower was not shifting. Previous repair company I used was out of business. I found The Dirty Nerd thanks to a Google search late Friday evening. Paul was quick to reply and answered all my questions. He repaired it in my driveway 3 days later and at a very reasonable price. No need for pick-up / delivery.

I haven’t been in Connecticut very long and feel lucky to have found repair professional that I can trust.
I have an old Ingersoll tractor that gets used year round for plowing and mowing and many outdoor chores.
In the middle of plowing this last snowfall it started running rough and would only run with the choke open.
I made an appointment with Paul ,he ask me to send some photos of what he’d be dealing with since it is an unusual tractor.
He came early and went down the list of checking different components to rule out what it could be. I appreciate that because it’s the same way I work on things.
He found the problem gave advice on how to avoid it in the future (another use for WD 40)
Paul wasn’t rushing to get the job done so he could get to the next job which is what I look for in a professional.
He was very reasonably priced and I would highly recommend him not only for the price but for the knowledge he has.
We also had a good conversation while he was here.

Paul is a great guy with a wealth of knowledge. He changed my blades on my Scag Patriot ,sharpened my old blades onsite. He also did a full safety check with a brake adjustment. I highly recommend his mobile service. The best part is he comes to your house which is rare these days.

Paul arrived perfectly on time as he had promised. This wasn’t the first time that he used his services. He’s fast, thorough, is very fair and transparent in his pricing. And above all he knows what he’s doing! I would use him again for anything like what he did for my snowblower. Once, when he could do nothing for my power washer, after spending a half an hour, he refused to charge me.
