My friend recommended The Shop CT to resolve a major engine misfire I was experiencing with my 2019 Audi S4. After emails with Jimmy explaining my issue, he was able to quickly fit me in to fix my car. The staff was very attentive to the job, finding and communicating other small issues that could snowball, and took care of them no problem after clearing it with me.
My car runs better than when I first bought it, and I couldn't be grateful enough for the work they put in. If I need anything done I'm confident The Shop CT will take care of it and have my car in the best shape it could be.

Bottom line, you won't regret choosing Jimmy and his team. They treat you like family and care for your car like it's theirs. And the eye-candy of cars outside is always a plus to me.

Both Jimmy and Lisa are amazing to deal with. I had a scheduling issue, and both of them worked together to squeeze me in. While I was in the waiting room, Jimmy notified me of a potential safety issue, he looked into personally and made sure it was dealt with. There are few places like this these days. It is a small business ran by extremely competent people. You’re not just another number to them, they go the extra mile. My car looked incredible after they were done. Seriously, stop searching, this is the place!

Brought car in have camber and toe dialed in and let me tell ya wasn’t disappointed the customer service and workmanship was better than any other shop I’ve had experience with. I have been a customer for what I believe is now my 5th year! I will try to summarize this up the best way I can. These guys have went way above and beyond for me every single time they are servicing my vehicle. They have fixed things for me during other repairs/installs and did so very resonably at all times.

To be honest I had my car there under repair way longer than I had anticipated. We are talking TWO years I was unable to finish paying off my new motor/clutch/turbo.

I had a tough year financialy and some mental health issues. They were compassisonate and understanding and worked with me on a plan. This was certainly unconventional and embarassing for me at first but life happens!

I can't thank them enough besides simply going back for all my needs. Also to note, of ourse, my car feels absolutely insane with the work they did to it. I am a customer for life.

Ive been here a few times in the past but just brought my brand new m340 to them for some engine work. Jimmy and Lisa are both great people to work with. I do not trust alot of people if not anyone with my cars because of previous experiences and my ocd. Will not be going anywhere else even if its a long drive. Thanks guys.

I brought my 340 straight to theshopCT after buying it. The motor had low compression, and had to get built. Jimmy was very open and helpful, told me about all the steps that needed to be taken and was very patient in helping me. They pulled the motor/trans for me and sent it to get built. I ended up changing my mind with the whole car, and explained to Jimmy the direction I wanted to take. He was an amazing help, kept the car in his shop for almost 7 months while I was figuring everything out. And followed my new plan with the car. Great customer service throughout my whole time. Him and his wife are great people who cared about my situation, and both were always very helpful/friendly. They work super hard and it shows in the results they output. No corners skipped, would recommended 10/10.

I first met Jimmy Kakaletris the owner of The ShopCT, 7 years ago when looking for a Tuner Shop that specialized in Subarus and modding cars, something I've been doing for 40 years.
Before I go further, I'll say this, in those 40 years of modding my cars, I've only ever seen 1 other Shop that was as great, no longer in business for a very long time. I asked a LOT of people, "who was the very BEST Shop for my Subaru WRX project ?", and every time, The ShopCT was the solid answer.
I hopped in my car, drove to their location, which was in Norwalk, CT at the time.
At most Shops, at 5pm, you'll see Techs wiping down their tools, getting ready to leave for the day. I was surprised, to put it mildly, that everyone, including Jimmy, the Owner, were still DEEP in their work.
Over these last 7 years, I've had the pleasure of seeing Jimmy, and his family, grow into a massive complex of unbelievable proportions. Whether it's a simple oil change, or literally building a full blown race car that can still be Street Driven, Jimmy, along with Mikey Botti, the best Tuner in the Country (IMO), owner and driver of the World's Fastest MK5 Supra, and several World Record holding BMWs, making well over 1000+ whp, are my one and only choice as to who works on my car.
The Facility also includes a Detail Shop, Custom Wrap Shop, and a huge assortment of everything your car, or you, may need.
Jimmy has treated me like family, not like "Customer #...". He has always made time to say hello, talk about what's going on with my car, and make me feel "at home" whenever I'm there, and I'm grateful for that.
Jimmy answers emails not only during the course of a business day, but even on a Sunday night. Who does that ? Jimmy does, and frankly, I have no idea how he manages to find the time to do all he does.
Bottom line, you will NOT find a better Shop, or better Service, from one of the most knowledgeable people in the business, Street, or Race, or a combination of both.
This is as good as it gets, period. Make an appointment, because The ShopCT is highly regarded, and the Parking lot is always full. But you'll get the very best Service, and the results will make you never want to get out of your car.
If you're that kind of person, you know exactly what I mean. 💯
