Charles and his team are great! I was feilding quotes for a new Central Air system for my small office condo. Mid Heatwave my unit completely died. As a sole proprietor unexpected expenses can be a real challenge for my small business, especially in the year of Covid!
Luckily a client of mine suggested I call L & L. He had used them and was very impressed with their professionalism and pricing. I called them as soon as my client sent over their number.
Charles was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and so were each of the Technicians that came out.
The pricing was very fair and my options were clearly explained to me. I'm so grateful that I was given their contact info. I can't say enough good things about the L & L team!

I am incredibly fortunate that a neighbor suggested I call L&L this morning. We came home from vacation to no AC late on a Friday night. Saturday morning a tech arrived from one of the chain companies to troubleshoot the issue. Two hours and $270 later, I was told the solution would be a $2,000 charge once parts could be delivered late the following week.

Fast-forward to Monday, when L&L came to my house 90 minutes after I called. Ryan quickly diagnosed the problem and drove into Hartford to get a replacement part. My AC was repaired by early afternoon and it only cost me $400. Stay away from the franchise companies and those that regularly advertise in our area. Go with L & L instead. You won’t regret it. They will be my first and only call moving forward.

We recently had L and L Mechanical install a new AC unit and handler in our attic, and the results are outstanding! The AC works fantastic, and the entire process was quick, from installation to performance, exceeded our expectations. I am extremely disappointed in their service. They had installed a new compressor with 10 years warranty 3 years ago. They were hired through Hulbert. My a/c is not working since 4 days (just when the heatwave began). First I contacted Hulbert. Bob came and checked the system for a service fee, but couldn’t figure out. So, told me to contact L & L. I contacted twice and explained the problem to two people. I was told to expect a call from Dougy. So far haven’t heard back. I understand that it is the peak season. But, if you don’t even respond to your customers, just goes on to show how much you really care.

Con-men Unprofessional, over charged, fixed nothing, unresponsive, didn't call back, did not follow though on promised research to fix issues, came twice on the same problem charged $450 each time, first time heat working fine and A/C intermittent ...after they left heat not working at all A/C not working at all, after chasing them came back charged another $450 and did not know what was wrong, said they would research possible issues and get back to me ... they never called back.... I trusted them because they are relatives of a very reliable tradesman I have used for years..... My experience with L and L Mechanical is the very worst tradesman experience I have had in 25 years living in the area, I own a home and two commercial buildings Stay away from these guys!!!!!
